My Life With You

Complete | tsurugi kai | 2000 released

Wow! Just an amazing story! I loved the story from the beginning to the end! The conversations were so genuine, not so cliche and just so real. Many of the conversations are so applicable to real world that I can't help but agree. It made the story seemed like it was true! Oh, and don't forget the art! It was so well done, the characters were unique on their own and don't have much resemblance to another. Steve is gawd damn hawt!...to the point I can't even spell properly! ;) One of the top stories I've read thus far. I can continue to read this many times over and have the bubbly feeling!

Himegimi To Sanbiki No Kemono

Complete | miyuki mitsubachi | 2009 released

I absolutely loved it right from the beginning! The adventures and the stories were well put together, and the characters were all wonderful. I wish that Kuchinawa and Renard had some more depth into their background because they were all great. Loved them, loved the story, and you know what, I enjoyed Jack's character. He was a bad guy, yes, but the environment that you live in unfortunately can shape you in many ways. "in this world there are many different people", just like what the father said. I was laughing, and towards the end, I was fluttering with anticipation for Crow and Violet, then I somewhat teared up for the difference in lifestyle that they both carried. How could they stay together when one is a princess and the other a thief? Realistically I don't see the possibility at all, but I suppose that's why I LOVE reading manga, for the fair tale love stories that can be made possible. Haaa, what a satisfying read. Now I wish I can find more of these stories!

Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen

Complete | ogura akane | 2007 released

Prince and Princess from warring countries band together under false love pretense to resolve the war comes to deeply love each other. It's such a cute story about their relationship! Euda was so hilarious when she was in denial of her love for Johanne. While Johanne knew right away that he loved her, and indeed confessed many times over to get her to realize her own feelings. The ending was seriously tear jerking, and I was so teary. Making love as man and wife the day before your husbands execution...Joahanne saying he was sorry for not being able to keep his promise in keeping her happy before leaving to be executed. I couldn't hold it in, and I cried. I knew it couldn't be possible, but the emotion in those scenes were so overwhelming, and I am such a sucker for this that I succumbed and cried. But, everything was great, and at the end, "Johanne-sama I hate you!" "Well then, I love you!" Johanne has gotten so used to her meaning in between those lines lol. A really cute story, highly recommended!

K-sensei No Yaban Na Renai

Complete | natsumizu ritsu | 2012 released

I'm not sure how it initially started, or how or why Kaji started falling for his editor Midori, but he's damn possessive. I love his strong personality and charm, if you will. He's a bully, and forceful, but he's not bad. Kaji should be mindful of Midori and not casually let another woman or man kiss him, even if he's not reciprocating it. Midori is completely clueless on his feelings, and he still haven't come to a resolution to his feelings. He still has not confessed, verbally, but he sure damn shows his enthusiasm physically when Kaji has his way with him. The sex scenes are intense and both Kaji and Midori has such erotic faces! Only 2 gripes: I want Midori to acknowledge his feelings and properly tell Kaji, and I want to know why Kaji is so obsessed with Midori in the first place. Maybe this should be a trilogy? lol My willfulness.

Ultimate Venus

Complete | shigematsu takako | 2007 released

I really enjoyed this manga. It was simple and predictable, sure, but it was cute in its own way. I do regret the fact that the relationship between Yuzu and her father was not furthered in more detail, but they did have a good relationship before knowing that he was Yuzu's father. If I were in Kagami's shoes, or even Yuzu's shoes, I don't know how to handle the relationship due to Yuzu's father's death. It is indirectly Kagami's fault, but is that enough to not warrant a relationship between the two? That is hard. In any case, I enjoyed it, though I do think that the harem thing can get pretty annoying at times, though at least they managed to be friends as compared to some other manga. My other gripe is that the possibility of Yuzu carrying out the impossible task of having all the large corporations getting on her side is unfathomable, and happened too quickly and suddenly. This part of the manga should be in further detail. However, I still enjoyed it for its simpleness.

Kizuna

Complete | kodaka kazuma | 1992 released

I enjoyed all of the couples, and what I found refreshing was that they both knew what they wanted and were straightforward with their feelings. Especially Ranmaru and Kai, they took a step forward and had a desire for their partners and I appreciate that so much, compared to other manga where they're so much more timid and introverted. Each person had a unique character. I do wish to see more about Kai and Masa, because I just know that their relationship will have more difficult times, and I want to see them get through those obstacles. And the intimate scenes between them, one is damn not nearly enough! So many laughter and hot scenes! A re-read!

Brother (Ougi Yuzuha)

Complete | Ougi Yuzuha | 2000 released

The art wasn't that great, but the story about step brothers falling for one another was pretty funny initially and it was pretty good. I wouldn't call it incest because they aren't related, a bit weird at first though. The sex scenes were ridiculously steamy.

Shizuku Hanabira Ringo no Kaori

Complete | kawai touko | 2008 released

I really enjoyed this! Thanks to Mucchan being so relentless and persistent he was able to win over the hard to read Shusaku! As much as Shusaku can be hard to penetrate and break through his external barrier (I'm sorry, it sounded perverted...well, maybe I'm not too sorry hehe), Shusaku is a very sweet and caring man! I loved reading about them!

Koizora

Complete | mika | 2007 released

The harsh reality about love and relationships. You never know where life takes you, even when you think you had it all planned. It's a cruel joke at times. Going through a disease, it was understandable that Hiro broke it off for Mika's own good. You try to give the one you love happiness, not sadness. Being with him when he is ill is a slow and painful path. Mika may not have regrets, but as the person with the illness, it's unbearable to put your loved one through it. It's selfish, but it's also selfless. I wish for Yuu's happiness because he's an incredible man, with a lot of understanding, patience, and love. I cried my eyes out, and it feels a bit swollen. This hardly ever happens. Tragic, but I enjoyed it. It's the harsh reality.
