Hanayomesama wa 16-sai
I read it, but I didn't feel so engrossed in it. I think perhaps because there wasn't anything that made it stand out from other manga. A rich guy marries a poor girl and they eventually fall in love with each other. There wasn't really any hardship or obstacles that made it intriguing. It was an ok read.
Grand Sun
I really enjoyed the fact that both Asahi and Sakuya were both head strong. I thought it was refreshing that they both chased after what they wanted, were upfront and honest about it. When I read the part that they may be related, my stomach turned sour. Thank goodness that wasn't the case. The ending was somewhat sad. Although I didn't like the President, I wouldn't cause him to potentially lose his company and go through all of that. That seems too cruel, even if the "parents" were heartless. They did raise Sakura up so to speak, so the least that Sakura could have done was spare some sympathy.
Oiran Girl
It was a bit sad due to the life of a courtesan, but the comedy and love between Shin and Tsubaki, as well as the other characters made it quite entertaining. I'm glad they were able to survive through the many obstacles and in the end have a child. I can't believe for a moment I though Gin-sama was a bad guy. Thank goodness, as I really like him a lot! It was a really sweet story.
Hanatsukihime
Siva, a devil makes a contract to give his heart to a child, Lys, for 16 years. Upon the 16th birthday, he will take his heart back. The story is cute and sad, I teared up at a few of the scenes, such as Malouf and Fatima and their fate. Siva is really hot! I love hot bad boys haha. It was a cute story, and I enjoyed it!
Migawari Hakushaku no Bouken
This was such a cute read! I love the characters, and it felt so real so to speak. They had life in them, and I loved how it wasn't a harem, but instead 2 air-headed people, especially Mirielle lol She keeps saying Richard is, but she need to rethink about herself! I truly am disappointed that it ended, because the story could be continued for many more chapters, considering that Richard is of high royalty (son of archduke?), Cecile still doesn't know of her brother, and her relationship with Fred! I loved this crazy couple too!! And Prince Zeke, and the muscle group! I am just laughing as I'm thinking about it! I will definitely find myself reading this again.
The Hands the Demon Adored
Ashita mo Kitto Koishiteru
It was a sweet story, and I really liked how Imai was so mature. He did put up with Mizuki more than normal people would, but I suppose that is often with the age difference. Mizuki was a bit of a crybaby to say the least, but she did grow up a bit towards the end. Imai is a man with urges but was gentlemanly enough that he waited until his woman was ready. Honest, mature, with a hint of jealously. A wonderful man. A story about 2 people overcoming differences in age; simple and pure. My only thing is I would have loved to see a proposal, marriage or kids!
Koizora
The harsh reality about love and relationships. You never know where life takes you, even when you think you had it all planned. It's a cruel joke at times. Going through a disease, it was understandable that Hiro broke it off for Mika's own good. You try to give the one you love happiness, not sadness. Being with him when he is ill is a slow and painful path. Mika may not have regrets, but as the person with the illness, it's unbearable to put your loved one through it. It's selfish, but it's also selfless. I wish for Yuu's happiness because he's an incredible man, with a lot of understanding, patience, and love. I cried my eyes out, and it feels a bit swollen. This hardly ever happens. Tragic, but I enjoyed it. It's the harsh reality.
