Wakagashira Kuroi and his childhood friend, lawyer Shirakaba, have always had mutual feelings for each other. However, due to their stations in life and other circumstances, nothing ever happened between them. A month after his divorce, Shirakaba begins bombarding Kuroi with confessions of his love.
