Hmmmmmm gurl i dont understand why u dont like the duke. Like in ur previous life it seemed like u didnt even take the time to get to know him, cuz he seemed really into u when u first met. and the fact that u were dealing with problems from ur past and just cooped urself up really didnt allow him to go help you. but then again he also didnt do the right thing with taking elle away from u when u were so vulnerable. but i mean there were more cons on ur side than his so im feeling a little sympathetic towards him. (chap. 20) ok so i skipped to the recent chapters and im not really vibing with whats going on. like theres a change in tone? in the story that just leaves me thinking "huh? why?" cuz i thought her goal was to live peacefully with her child. And dont even get me started on the spirits! like, where the hell were you in her previous life where she needed u the most. now she revives and all of a sudden these magical beings and people are interested in you? like wut?
