It's looking like there's going to be some psychological stuff from his past and potentially being kept under the thing of his ex. Like, this dark skinned, serious business guy appears to be romantically interested and be someone from his past who makes him jumpy in a bad way. But the class president, with the floppy hair, seems sweet and nice and genuinely interested in him.
