Kiba's manga / #slice of life(15)

I really still can't tell if I liked it. But I couldn't stop reading till the end. Is that the same as the life he and chikara now have?

A very good story about two young best friends, where one starts to like the other. His best friend suddenly disappears and leaves to America for a few years, and then suddenly shows back up at his high school. This is a strict and complicated school, with many different characters that influence the main two. Many misunderstandings, unspoken truths and misspoken lies, complicated pasts and trauma for both of them leave them with pure instincts. A good manga with many psychological aspects, and many dark moments to see them through.

It's cute for what it is, although honestly I like the first couple, only because they show more of them, but both stories could use some work. The first has the straight uke sleeping with the guy who likes him just to keep him around? And the second uke, we don't see any sign he likes that guy until he goes on a date? Still, pretty art.

3. Totally great concept of an omega! He fakes his heat, saying that the medications don't work for him, and uses the 3 days off every month because he is lazy and hates to work. Here comes along a new employee, who happens to be an alpha, that is under his care. When his next fake heat time is coming, the guy comes over unannounced "to help"? It seems like he is naive of omegas, and so omega can get away with great acting, but he bites him and says they are a pair! Here comes a really interesting journey of him suddenly being pulled into living with the alpha, meeting his parents and whole shitload Omega-san didn't expect when he realized he had to play along with the fact that he was bit in his heat, and became a pair. Great concept, and I can't help but wonder if the alpha is actually as innocent and naive as he seems.

It's a very sweet, sad soft touch, this manga. Nothing is exactly easy, or spelled out, and life continues with its ups and downs but the story is fulfilling. I would have loved to see a bit of them with a high school ayumu.
