Kinda twisted characters and story... idk like 3.5/5 i think. Art 10/10 and seme is sexy as hell. no adult scenes in main story T.T Very good and compelling overall but missing that factor to make it 5 stars... I like the end but i feel like there couldve been a bit more depth and feeling to the characters than what was presented. Like it was still fucking amazing but eh... Maybe if the story was longer and there was more wooing/ character and relationship building/ development involved, i just want a bit more. Still top tier. edit: like wheres the romance??

That how iI feel right now after finishing this. Like wtf? wtf? wtf???? AHHHHHHHHHJ First of all, masterpiece level but FUCK the end leaves me hanging. Fucking 3 year time skip fuckinghabdejhabdsjb Its good he heals by the end but how is that it? Not even a flash of their current dynamics... I mean I guess the end makes since since he learned how to not be depend and be able to live on his own and its enough that they're both still in his life :/ I just feel it leaves the relationships unresolved but the authors focus was on the trauma and healing end i guess. The whole story i was hoping for a poly thing to form and the other to to like each other or a deep friendship like they seemed to start to develop but 3 years have passed and now idk what happened to the 3 of them and its so bothersome!! Curse that time skip! I'm honestly deeply glad he healed (he feels almost like a real person to me T.T I'm too attached) but honestly I was really confused by th last few chapters and idk if it was the translations or if the author didn't convey it super well what mc was thinking, i think it might've been a little bit of both. Like after that though how did they all heal their relationships???? They were all in a pretty rough spot. Give me an extra or something dammit. Overall his trauma really what this book was about and it feels like it was expressed fully. I WOULDVE LIKED to see more of the healing arc but i guess the author had already fleshed out all the parts they wanted to express... My addiction to romance is just begging for the happy healing ever after part of the story. Marvelous job writing such a realistic story and conveying what SA / his situation can do to a person, their ability to have relationships or heal and how society treats them. This one has all the feels.

ch.58 holy shit its not completed???? wtf/ ahhhh I messed up this has gotta have at least 20 more chapters this sucks. The seme is a piece of shit but the story is still super interesting and I try to mentally edit out what a dick the top ML is. Man I'm sad i cant finish it now. Overall mc is super likable. You feel the possible tragic end coming post-revenge. The friend characters r awesome. I like the subplots. A really well thought out peice. If the seme had less rape-y vibes and it got a tiny bit more interesting (more of a deeper dive with the characters/ interactions & emotions maybe?), I'd say 4 stars. RN 2.5 stars

A Masterpiece for sure. Inspiring. The author did an amazing job of making a villain a hero, which i find is hard to do successfully for a lot of authors. We got the dark suspense in the first half and an almost too bright ending at the end. I absolutely love it. 4.5/5 Not in my top 10 masterpieces but still super high up there. The art was super good, I really think I'd enjoy the original novel because of the amount of SUBSTANCE it provided; with the climax as he goes to rescue Llewellyn, the motif of the soldier fairytale, the repeated crucial moment from a different perspective 3 times, even the fucking onions and the beginning of the story that makes so much since at the end after we have all the understanding of the characters. There's a hint early on that makes u question Shavonne's sanity with his long time friend actually thinking of him as a patient (later u find out about his amnesia) adding to the suspense as well. It's beautiful. I'm basically completely satisfied and impressed as a reader. If anything though I would have liked to feel the beginning's theme (it was brought back throughout too) at the end still... Like Llewlleyn is still fucked up in his sense of morals, though less fucked up, I think having an extra that leaves the readers on their toes could've been fun. I know they tried to do it with the eye thing but it wasn't effective enough lol. But tbh i'm just nitpicking a masterpiece rn Also the art wasn't like breaking the scale, 4/5 still amazing though.

mega toxic train wreck. Nothing too disturbing but the mc is undeniably a psycho villain without a conscious. Love interest is also crazy so they work out. Interesting because of the emotions and how confusingly toxic the characters are. wouldn't recommend or reread. The smut was pretty well done and I liked how they added the novel excerpts in. 1.5

The plot is so damn good so far!!! (12/07/2020) (12/11/2023) ch.70 I do regret reading up to here. I know there’s going to be 30-50 more chapter minimum with how the story is right now. Right now nothing will destroy mc. He doesn’t care about anyone, anything that happens to himself, he only cares about his love which is why the demon can’t win with how things are. There’d have to be big changes like mc actually really caring about the protagonist and then he kills her or she betrays him or something idk. Rn he wouldn’t care if she died tho (that much). Anyway it’s fucking amazing. Still 5 stars. Wish the translations were better or the art style was more my taste but those are small things this story is way top tier. The love story is my fav messed up type. And the plot is just so interesting and not typical. Quite unpredictable with a full range of emotions even though it has a bleak/ dark motif. A good Chinese one.

the reporter sunbae is really interesting/ sexy. Hoping for more of him in season 2. A bit of a mentally tough read with all the fucked up shit going on with the villain character predator and MC's inferiority complex is a liiiitle bit pathetic/ annoying but I actually really like this because its so interesting, especially the love interest. Definitely a 10/10 for the psychological aspect I still can't figure out the main characters completely after reading the whole first season and I'm still surprised by a lot of decisions they make/ cant figure out what they'll do next. The smut is hot too and there isn't too much of it to kill the story either just a few scenes here and there. Really thrilling and mysterious mcs, disappointed season 2 isn't here yet (7/31/21) (2/25/24) just finished over a few days… the potential of the sunbae’s character is ripping me apart even though he’s so minor in the story I need him to have his own story. Overall loved it. Obsession/hate turned to love. It was amazing. The writing and characters perspectives were so so interesting especially the differences in those perspectives really made it fun to read. Smut in the first half was A+ but then the author decided just to focus on the drama which was fine bc the drama was fire. A really good story 4 stars for sure. I ship it.
