One of best male leads everrrrrrrrr. And 2nd ML is sooooo lovely too aaaaaa and his close friendship with ML gets me so good!! They're so perfect!!!!

The story is told strictly from Ash's (Modern Eugenie) POV. So there are many things we didn't know a long the way, and many things we never get to know. There is no such thing as an omniscient view, so it gets confusing and flustering. But, a human's eyes can only see so much after all. The potential Male Leads are all decent, though I could nitpick the two half-brothers a little (because they are attached to original Ash/Astrid, and their attachment isn't love. And I personally think it can never become love). Sir Mio and The Great Magician Ciel are my roman empire, with Mio topping any list of mine without hesitation. I feel extremely indignant that he isn't endgame, and I feel even worse that he wasn't able to follow Eugenie to her world even though both Ciel and Duke Klien were able to, he was unfortunately the one who had to stay. And when he was finally able to go, it was after 23 years have passed in novel (only 1hr in the otger dimension) so he ultimately decided to stay because he was now that much older than Eugenie. Sir Mio should have been the obvious ML. He never met the og!Ash, he was there by Eugenie's side since the very first day she transmigrated, he cared about her so much, he was the one to always protect and console her, the one who lifted her spirits, the one who calmed her anxieties and eased her mind, the one who made sure to get her everything she asked for. Ciel is great, his love is also extremely pure.. but in the presence of Mio, any man pales in comparison. Labelled a favourite solely in honour of sir Mio.
