Leveling My Husband to the Max
Read: Ch.104 Entertaining and sweet, but just too much drama: As soon as one problem is solved, the next is already waiting to be solved. MC is strong-willed and intelligent, while ML is just awkward and bad with words, but turns super sweet to her. ML was aweful and distant in her past life, but after what he‘s gone through (war, still a virgin etc.), it‘s kinda understandable, how he treated her so coldly and roughly on their first night together. But everything else could have been prevented, if he just wouldn‘t have given a fuck. He should have paid attention on how she was being treated, but he had his hands full with the evil plots of the emperor and his step-mother. In the end, he still tried to save MC. I get why MC‘s father did it like that, but MC not being able to forgive him for that (yet) is also totally understandable and even a good thing, since she‘s still trying to clear the air and talk normally to them regarding other matters. Because if MC did forgive her father and sister right away, it‘d have been a character flaw for me. It‘s not all about revenge, that‘s right, but forgiveness is not part of a give away, it has to be earned. As long as they show MC their true feelings through words and actions, she‘s sure to forgive them, since she‘s a good, but still strong person. It‘s getting pretty boring in the later chapters.
Thank You for Your Betrayal
Read: Ch.48 Pretty good so far, entertaining cliché plot with nice art. MC has travelled back in time, after being murdered by her own father and her husband through poisonous tea. So in order to escape death now, she‘s trying to get ML aka duke on her side and marries him.
Beloved in-laws
Read: Ch.16 MC is so weak and dense, but with her past it‘s kinda understandable, and at least she‘s trying to be a bit more confident now. After so many years of abuse by her family, MC moves to live with her new family-in-law for an arranged marriage paid by ML‘s family. ML has been in love with her for years and sent that proposal with the approval of his whole family, since everyone there already knows MC and loves her. MC‘s family and especially her evil sister are the villains here.
Lotto princess
Read: Ch.49 Season 1: Ch.1-45 Pretty good plot with nice art and characters: MC gets reincarnated as the only living princess. Her paternal uncle killed her father and is also the reason, why her mother died at war. MC and her nanny are being abused at the imperial palace and in order to run away, she tries to convince her maternal uncle aka gorgeous duke with his three sons to take her with him to the northern region. ML is her uncle‘s only disciple and they‘re fated soulmates, so without her he won‘t be able to control his magic and soon die. But MC is very afraid of him, since he was the rebel commander who ordered her death sentence in her past life, when she had to ascend the throne after the evil emperor‘s death due to illness, and be an abused puppet of those traitorous nobles in the main capital. Main villains are the emperor, some temple priests and all the duke‘s traitors like his most trusted mentor. Loving this one, but there are quite a few things that don‘t sit well with me.. first of all, what is the duke doing not knowing about the abuse of his youngest son and treating them all so coldly, but doing a 180* after meeting weak MC. Yes, he knows that all his sons are strong and what not, but would just a few nice gestures be the end of the world? Then the duke defending his loyal mentor is a given against a lil kid he doesn‘t trust yet, but not noticing that this said mentor is abusing his own youngest child? Oh, what an idiot. Like, how can not a single person notice sth strange about that child not being able to speak properly or touch anyone? That‘s clearly fear and mistreatment, you dunce. And lastly, how is it still alright that MC is only eating candies and cakes? If it‘s just once in a while, it wouldn‘t matter at all, but she‘s literally eating a cake or candies every second chapter haha
Read: Ch.7 There‘s a better re-upload. Really nice art and super cute / smutty story: MC has bf after bf through a dating app, but they‘re just jerks wanting her for sex. After the nth bf, she complains at her usual restaurant spot, where ML works as a part-timer cook, and gets confessed to by him. ML is a really cute delinquent-looking type, but sweet at heart and totally in love with MC, while she is such a ppl pleaser trying to talk herself down the whole time as a good-for-nothing and switches bf all the time.
Purizu Ripito Raburi Boisuboisu
Read: Ch.4 This is actually pretty cute and fluffy, smut is good as well, but mangaka could have depict some parts better. MC is super easy, even though she‘s still a virgin and ML is really cute to her. That girl just wants to get fucked so bad, which isn‘t a bad thing at all, but seems kinda hypocritical, after having all those innocent thoughts as her reasoning. Same for the ML: He‘s a cute puppy to her and everything he says and does is pure in her eyes, but he literally admitted that he likes sex a lot (and seems pretty easy as long as someone has a nice voice) and they‘re both not dating, but only hanging out with each other and always have sex afterwards. That‘s a perfect example for being good friends with benefits. It doesn’t matter that they both like each other secretly, her denying the sex friends part is weird, since they‘re doing it every single time even at a hotel, and they’re both still denying any dating questions. This is still a good story with nice art and smut, but the part with them having such pure thoughts, still being so easy and fucking like bunnies, is kinda hypocritical and not well depicted by the mangaka. And no, this isn’t the cutest shit ever. They could have done that part way better, like showing the reader just how much each of them is secretly in love with the other since BEGINNING of the story, as if they‘d only do all this sex friends thing only for the other and no one else. But this just seems like that other person met their standards, so they‘re fucking around. That‘s just a good hook up. We all know it‘s not the case for this couple, but just show so much more of their love thoughts (the pure part) and feelings for each other right from the start, not just later on. Both MC and ML are actually so sweet. But this makes it seem like some easy ppl (who kinda like each other to a certain degree) making out and then falling for each other, and not that super pure love they‘re actually trying to describe. The complaint seems small and unneccessary, but it’s only for that mini part, then this could have been such a cute masterpiece, since it‘s already so good.
Death To The White Ferret Weasel
Read: Ch.78 (read til Ch.21, then started again from Ch.63) Pretty good plot and nice art, but it got kinda boring inbetween, so just skipped a big part, will read it later. MC is strong and intelligent and ML is gorgeous and already so in love with MC. But the main villain, Ranon, looks way too good haha that guy looks phenomenal
Free in Dreams
Read: Ch.107 So much drama about bullying: Kinda skipped the beginning, but I didn’t wanna read 30 chapters of background story and bullying first. It‘s the same old, same old. They‘re both so broken, but they need each other. MC is being bullied by her former friend from elementary school, who‘s so obsessed with her and even steals her crush, and both regret everything later on. The audacity, wth. MC is a good-natured and weak person, but gets strong-willed and doesn‘t step back afterwards, if it‘s for her own defense. ML is such a yandere, obsessive and possessive psycho. Literally, since he uses his supernatural ability to torture some guys in his dreams, who dare to get near MC. Also, ML and that bitch bully aren’t related to each other. They only have the same, because this mangaka draws the same faced again and again. It‘s difficult to differentiate even MC‘s classmates at first. Even though there‘s also so much typical Korean drama with lots of school and trainee bullying, this is such a masterpiece. Loving it!
