dunno about you all but i for once appreciate a bl where the plot overshadows the romance. king's maker has always been a plot-heavy story and it's obvious the story was gonna get more complicated once the wolfgang became king. i'm glad the authors kept the focus on the story instead of the romance because many stories tend to deviate from the plot and into romance/smut once the second or third season starts. there's not a lot of stories like this in the bl genre which is why i appreciate it a lot. I love wolfgang my baby he is the best and soohyuk is soooo clever but can be such a cute child sometimes. Also Sys has my heart he is so fucking gorgeous and i wish dandelion and theo were still alive. It pains my heart.
