I like the side ship with her brother and the empress (?) though, weird af situation they're in but it's cute how their start with a bro friendship, and he's into her as a guy lol. He bi ig. - Girl's whole family except one brother got murdered.

Ch. 13 The mc must be protected but the ml is ehhh he better have a good reason for this shit behaviour. Don't like the whole dead lover trope either so we'll see ig.

Ch. 29 Honestly rating is way too low (8.7 rn) it's actually not bad at all. Well some parts are irksome like their misunderstandings and lack of communication but I'd say it wasn't dragged on too long and i like their emotional turmoil and internal feelings about it, like how they rationalize their feelings and stuff. Like how the seme is hella insecure and i totally get it I'm kinda like that too aka not communicating properly and bottling his feelings up, the way he's always kinda annoyed with the uke but also loves him and is obsessed with him, not relatable but i get it. And it's not like the uke did anything wrong either, i like how he is actually head over heals for the seme just not obsessive about it but he really likes him and it's so cute. The way he can't get over his face falls for his aegyo and finds everything he does cute is so cute in itself lol. I like how they're trying to compromise and find a solution (?) for the seme's insecurities and obsessiveness, dunno how they'll do that though ngl. Anyways i need to sleep so all in all this is cute don't judge a book by their rating ig .

Idk what to feel about this. Like tbh i kinda already predicted the twist so i spent the entire things just looking at how he's lying. And also the parts where the mc treated seno like shit kinda stuck and didn't go away even after all that, like idk I'm just holding a grudge cuz I'm biased towards seno honestly. I like that they all ended on good terms even with hakushima by the end, cuz he was just caught in the crossfire and had his own fish to fry so to speak. I also noticed how the cuckoo imagery was prevalent in all their situations. The story of the cuckoo replacing the original child of the bird and all that. Like in the MCs back story (cuz he even straight out says it), how he is an orphan so he feels like he's the cuckoo in someone else's household but he actually has a happy home. Then seno who becomes the cuckoo by trying to replace hakushima while he was in coma, and taking mcs affection for himself. Maybe there's more imagery but these are the most concrete, the others i can think of are kinda superficial so i won't mention them.. All in all, it was good seno was cute af i feel for him mc was a bitch at the start and i could totally see that twist coming from the start. Wish they had more of what happened after they finally got together, that would've def made it five stars ngl. Also I'm not too sure what i was supposed to get outta this, like the moral(?) of the story? Cuz like it was mentioned by hakushima if he was just a soul would people still love him and all, and that made the mc believe the body swap because he wanted to believe that he loved his soul, but in the end it wasn't even his soul and it was seno all along. So like is the lesson you can't love a person by their soul? Looks mattered all along? Or is it that he wasn't in love just obsessed with h but then he actually fell in love with seno? But tbh even while he was looking for seno it didn't feel like he was in love with him. Feels like he just got together with him because seno liked him. Idk man, I don get love. Like i get maybe he fell for seno while the lie was ongoing, but like??? Idk, didn't feel like it cuz it still felt like he was obsessed with hakushima. Then hakushima (more or less rejected him) so he went for the next best option ykwim. Maybe that's my problem with this, i just didn't feel the romance.

Ch. 5 Looks cute i like this dynamic, hopefully seme isn't too much of a player. Also the translation is a bit ass ngl. The meaning is there but like the nuance is and will be gone if this keeps up. Also read the comments before this and was curious what could possibly cause so much debate, but the dude literally just jerked off. That's it. It was such a nothingburger i was so confused. Like that literally happens is most yaoi, yk the same exact scene of the mc jerking to their crush. But then for some reason this story attracted multiple prudes who can't even take that??

Ch. 23 I kinda love this rn but I'm scared it'll turn to tropes i hate like running away pregnant, (more) misunderstandings, and obsessive yandere ml (which he's giving me mixed flags on cuz like he's so scary sometimes but others he's so sweet). Ngl hopefully the actual princess never comes back but like mc cares about her so probably not. - Substitute princess marries prince.

Ch. 29 I unironically like this. Just hope it doesn't drop the ball somehow. I like their dynamic and their personalities; how they're a product of their environment, and how they affect each other. Honestly i don't get the gambling lingo but it's cool ig. I like dumbass(a code name) and how he has a soft spot for the mc because same mc is a cutie ml better get that through his thick skull sooner or later. Also i kinda liked the red head (forgot his name whoops) too but someone mentioned hoping he's not the mole and i see it now, hope I'm wrong but like who could it be other than him yk. - Guy is forced to join a gambling den to pay off his debts(or something ngl i don't really get the plot)

Ch. 17 Read this cuza the rating and someone said they were smiling the entire read so i thought they were already together and it was gonna be fluffy. Got jebaited istg. They're not together (not even close) and it's not fluffy and it's one sided unrequited love arghhh should've just let it marinate but fuck me ig. I read the author's other works and it was hella good so ik this is gonna be too but like the start is always so hard to get through. The author's art really improved though eunsan is so pretty gawdddamn. The ml is hot too but like he looking a lot like the ml from jinx even though I didn't read it and don't know him but like yk. Also the new girl bestie of the ml, emma, she's pretty af.
