THIS WAS SL CUTE???????? Easily one of my faves. Asahi dressing as a girl only to hopefully become Yugo’s girlfriend is just the cutest thing ever- and proof of how much he loves him. Also, Yugo being clear from the very start that he loves Asahi for who he is and not just when he’s « Miu » (even if we still got drama regarding that later) was also really sweet and wholesome. I really appreciate that they also can’t always understand each other without TRULY talking some things out first, cuz that’s how real relationships work y’know. The only thing that bothered me quite a bit is the confession I think ? Asahi running away like that was a bit of an overreaction,, a bit too much just cuz you saw a girl close to your man. The whole following scene was quite cringe,,, Asahi running away, Yugo running after him, Asahi falls, his wig flies off, and the. The whole yelling/confession scene…. When Asahi made Yugo fall down too and confessed while they were both just- lying down the floor- in the streets… It’s ok though, putting that aside this was perfect. Yugo is a really gentle boyfriend and I loved it when he asked about Asahi’s bruises first after the confession when they were gonna have sex, when he stopped right away when Asahi said he hated it, all those small things yk? They’re normal but you rarely see that in BLs now, so seeing them is great. Anyway, definitely a MUST re-read!!
