And oh, Kaneko (seme's son) is so cute and adorable despite being big. He even sees Naito as his dad's 'second wife'. #Adoption/M2M marriage is also thrown in. CONTINUATION: Shinu Hodo Suki @chap 8 ch. 7: Kaneko's neighbor. A bittersweet but still funny story of a married man and his "mistress". after a one night stand, they found out they were working in the same building and the mutual attraction is undeniable. #beard: seme's gay but married for some reason. AND. till the end they never get to resolve it. even the readers would shrivel up from their super slow progression. they even only reached the first base and haven't done anything since the last. Ahh, touching to see ranmaru picking up his shinai after the terrible accident. everbody believed it's impossible for hiim to take up a sword once more. national-level kendo fight bet. kai x ran. I've actually watched the OVA but it was so long ago I needed a revisit of the whole story. Ended up reading the entire family of spin-offs haha.

The many-faced, #half-japanese tashiro roy and his mentor and older lover j.b and their dangerous life together. Separate story, no appearance of prequel main cast. @CH. 6: shu hua cameo (the brat who chases j.b from kizuna). Kodaka sense's artwork has improved leaps and bounds in this volume. I was on a kizuna series binge and it's a nice treat to see how aside from sensei's artwork, you can clearly see the evolution in taste, fashion sense and architecture from sessa's 90's backdrop to GnH's latest 2016 fad.

Nov 2017 EDIT: OMG @ch. 20-end: It's seriously giving me a heartbreak. Ohhhh why is it so painful between them. The drama, it hurts good. I can't believe there's only one chapter left before it finishes. I can definitely feel the climax. I'm in near tears BUUUTTT I've been let down in the end. I was never a fan of bad ending for couples when there could have been reencounters and resolutions that could happened and what did the webtoon creator did? well make them breakup. Congratulations on never resolving this in the end. I think even as much as he wanted to deny it, yoo il never had gotten over it. If he REALLY did, he won't be as guarded all over the memory like what he is doing. NOPE. Not fun. #reencounter with his old crush. Old crush had a son who just looks like him, to the chargin of our MC. However, the kind of grew closer each day but like any 40-something ahjussi, is still reluctant to step in this. Especially with how awkward everything about them is. And let's not start with the age gap. However, it is interesting how the webtoon presented their relationship as a love affair that needed to be hidden. Somehow, everything about this manga make you feel the realism of the issue it wants to get across, especially the may-december romance. Gratituous scenes are a bonus, even when the smut is not explicit. The plot makes me happy enough tho. Still, I'll keep the 4* because the drama hurts so good and it's good overall, just not up to my preferences.
