Each were an indirect sequel of the other but can be read as a separate story. 〛 What made me interested in it is the way mangaka presented the story. We start with some mysterious, smiling guy (acquainted to the yakuza) offering questionable services to customers and it started building up from there. The sexy massage sessions are hot. But it got more steamy when a guy from his past barged in his clinic. Thus started the love story.

Why does it has a low rating? WHY? ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ TBH This manga is actually pretty good w/ a satisfying deep plot about homophobia and people fiercely hiding in the closet, fearfully covering sexuality with layers upon layers of lies and perfect "normality". It does not romanticise gay-in-denial BL but lays down the reality of what might be happening in real life. As I read on, I think Sone smell gayness (gaydar ALERT!) on Mitsui all the while after the #reencounter that is why he persisted through the depressed divorcee's abuse & self-destruction mode. (I was staring at Sone's face, curious as to why he doesn't even looked surprised when Mitsui finally dropped the "I'm gay" confession so I figured he must have been suspecting all while) I felt so grateful for his existence in Mitsui's life because he literally served as a salvation for him and gave him the courage to get out of his fiercely locked closet and take baby steps as a gay man, breaking down the barriers of the heterosexual conformity that served as his shield to cover up his trauma. I was annoyed at Mitsui at first but I'm happy for him now and Sone got his highschool flame finally fulfilled.

OMO is this a fun and cute manga about teachers. ch. 1-3.5: #reencounter after 7 yrs. #homophobia #bullying. Well, regardless of age and position, gay people are a target for bullying in the end. :( :( My heart hurts for Eri the most. He's been through a lot of hard shit since he was young. And that is only because he wanted to stay true. #openly gay. ch. 4-5.5: thankfully, the second pair is lighthearted and funny. else it will be too bad for my heart. they eased up the heavy theme of homophobia on the first couple.

⟫ I: Episode 0 > Itou-san This is some sort of prequel that features Itou-san's POV so we get a glimpse of life on his side of the world. I like the comparison of the cat drawn throughout the story. Here we see how he was raised as a mere machine for killing and how his owner gloats the perfection of his creation. However, karma would bit e him hard as he understand what "love" is the hard way. In the end, even someone as "perfect" as "I" is susceptible to love. And that made him learn how to be human. It's amazing. #foreigner "I" and his assassin group went to japan for business. #reencountered the boy he saved after 10 years. #sensitive topics like shota, child trafficking and violence. Read at your own risk.
