Why does it has a low rating? WHY? ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ TBH This manga is actually pretty good w/ a satisfying deep plot about homophobia and people fiercely hiding in the closet, fearfully covering sexuality with layers upon layers of lies and perfect "normality". It does not romanticise gay-in-denial BL but lays down the reality of what might be happening in real life. As I read on, I think Sone smell gayness (gaydar ALERT!) on Mitsui all the while after the #reencounter that is why he persisted through the depressed divorcee's abuse & self-destruction mode. (I was staring at Sone's face, curious as to why he doesn't even looked surprised when Mitsui finally dropped the "I'm gay" confession so I figured he must have been suspecting all while) I felt so grateful for his existence in Mitsui's life because he literally served as a salvation for him and gave him the courage to get out of his fiercely locked closet and take baby steps as a gay man, breaking down the barriers of the heterosexual conformity that served as his shield to cover up his trauma. I was annoyed at Mitsui at first but I'm happy for him now and Sone got his highschool flame finally fulfilled.

Even without anyone dying this seems to portray something really tragic... like the process of Kan-chan loosing his humanity. And they were so happy at the start. This is the beginning of the end.

WOW. that's very romantic. if not because of the earlier chapters, i will rate this as one star. / ch. 6: MC got forced to work on mom's kindergarten school because of his CC balance (spoiled rich kid lol) and met this adorable high-tension kindergarten teacher mistook him as a pervert, suspiciously hanging outside like that. but MC warmed up to him and to the kids as well then one day a pedobear kidnapped one of the kids. #younger seme x older uke, #teachers

Little rebel went back home to learn that his old father died. Some intimidating, handsome men in expensive suits marched in and offered to adopt him. (never noticed they're #twins lol. they don't look alike at first glance) So there started some little forbidden love game between the two. Pretty basic and stereotypical but the pretty art helped a lot and it turned out cute and amusing.
End Game
Found this againd and ahhh, the feels are all coming back to me now. It's a heart ache-inducer of a slice of life manga I have the confidence to recommend. It hurts but it hurts so good and I really resent that ex-BF and even if he's dying I wish there was justice that got served. Unfortunately, people with money can do anything And it's just frustrating. Author did a oneshot in the end to bring out sympathy for the ex-bf. He's got a dark and sad story no wonder he's fucked up so i'm suppose to take his short time left to live as some kind of divine punishment for what he did to Katsuya? I'd take it, better than nothing. I'm just salty he got off scot free. Duty vs guilt vs feelings. #older uke x younger seme. 30-yo uke, 17 yo seme @ the start of the story. They did it when the seme is 20 yo so it's ok. #non-blood relation incest: father x adopted son.

Mangaka tried for something that has a mysterious character but it ended up messy. It started good, it has quite enough depth and interesting ideologies and that kept me for a while but the lack of resolution, even if it's hinted or open-ended did not arrive so that accounted for much confusion. A shame really. Common ground is the seme's ex-gf. Two bisexual guys that experimented but eventually moved on with life and gone back on the het track (bec of cowardice most likely)

One amusing thing about this whole volume is that they had the theme of animal comparisons for every pair. Cute and kinda unique. (raws link at the bottom+) ch. 1-2, 8: {hebi x kuma} #officemates. MC badly wishes to settle down w/ a wife and kids. There's one who badly wanted to be his wife tho, but it's a guy and he's mostly joking. A year has passed and the "joke" is still on but now they even started having sex, as much as it displeased MC. Until the day he realized that kuma's totally not joking at all. MC also realized his feelings at the same time. Cute blush bb. ch. 3-4: {cry-baby doggie seme} Hahaha, now that's what I call the cool office I wanted to work at. Uke broke up with the super clingy seme and the poor guy can't work properly. (They were in different departments) Uke might come off as a cold guy but there is a reason behind his action and it's so sweet. All seme needs to do is to stop crying and figure it all out. I just love all the guys in sales department they are so supportive of the couple.
