Art is pretty on the faces. Slutty uke is disillusioned with love, but seems like an extreme reaction to that one rejection in high school (though they were very close friends and seme was in love with him, just didn't want to commit). Real shame that we don't explore the fact that Haruomi is versatile, real shame :(

This has an omega seme,taller, broader and a bully (no idea if it was a mistranslation somewhere, but he seemed to be going dark along the way and then it was abandoned). It has rape, alpha uke is not willing, but then it becomes very sweet and really ride or die. Alpha gets a different fated pair and they have to deal with that. I was really, really hoping for switching, because they are both hot and manly.

A really good one from KK, with lovable characters and a complicated situation. Seishiro lives with his kindergarten brother, who is his father's illegitimate child, and accidentally meets his hs classmate Takeru, who shares his last name. I was expecting Seishiro's father, a politician, to be the scum of the earth, but he's ok, albeit weirdly reluctant to engage with his little son, but working with Seishiro. Takeru is playful and seemingly unreliable (a divorcee unable to love), and somehow lands Seishiro in hot water with the press, by kissing his cheek in public. This is where Seishiro's father advises his son to take one for the gay team and help legalize gay marriage - a project he wants finalized before his term's end - and Takeru accepts with the condition that they have sex first (which they cannot go through with, and only do it between Seishiro's thighs). The issue I have with this story is that I really want a sequel dealing with their married life :)))))))))

O, man, I thought this would be complete (ch.5), but it stops at such a cliffhanger point. Comments are ofc stupid and detract points for a child being abused by his father (Tou's stepfather is having sex with him and he always has bruises) - children, go read fluffy stories if this is too much for your stomach, but this doesn't make a story bad, just because you're too immature or cretin to handle it. The story is re-encounter after re-encounter and a feeling that I am deeply familiar with: a misstep and the impossible burden of making a connection again. These children start as friends and then Shizuka accidentally finds out Tou likes him and everything goes downhill for the rest of their childhood and teenage years. When Shizuka confesses (in uni) and is instantly rejected, he has such a sweet, innocent reaction to it, he is such a kind-hearted boy. I hope Tou gets his happiness. Edit: Lovely boys! Shizuka is so worried he is going to be another bad memory when they have sex.

Past relationship in high school, re-encounter years later at work (also neighbours). Asami is kickass brave and takes no shit, he's so lovely, while Sakuraba has his own drama with keeping up with his frivolous persona and fighting his restrictive upbringing by homophobic parents, he constantly represses himself. Tone is light but themes are heavy and art is jaw-dropping, I want to own this in whatever language, even the original. I was just reminded that while Yoshi's art is absolutely fantastic, her story-telling lacks a punch, so this collaboration is most welcome.

Read 4 chapters, excellent story, lovely characters (could have sworn uke would be seme, he is so assured and cocky). Edit: Completed.

This looks quite interesting but I really hope it's not too plot-heavy. Edit: I'm having a hard time following from episode to episode, I'm going to take a break and binge some time (ep. 23).
