I wondered if I would even enjoy or sympathize with a story about an assassin, but it actually turned out to be a really good story that kept my attention and I read it in 2 afternoons. Smutty parts are well drawn but romance is a super slow burn. Don't expect a lot of butterflies and feel good moments but there is humor and it's interesting.
