Changed: The Beta Count
Eleanor Rievere Venryl Sion Gray Lionel (son) Very short and sweet (its still ongoing). I like that there is no leaning towards a certain male lead, they all get their chances and they all equally love Elle. They all fell in love at different times, and although canonical Venryl is the official lover, Sion and Gray have proven to have loved Elle way before. If anything, Venryl seems very lackluster compared to the other two.. I love Sion so much. So loyal and a golden retriever. Always has Elle's best interest in mind. He's such a caring father. I love this man, your honor
Beware of the Villainess!
Melissa Yuri Nine Ian (crown prince) Jake (brother) Jack (wolf) Peacock Melody *lmao* (rich guy) Kartena and Robbie What a beautiful story. It really flips it upside down. Sure it's the classic reincarnation story, but the concept of the book FL being aware that they're in a storybook, and having to constantly live this life without being able to stray from it, but it takes someone else to be reincarnated into the book to finally break your cycle.. that's a genius concept. I'm glad that Yuri ended up not dating any of the LIs, cus now she can finally live her life, free of the story cycle. I love that all the females in this story are proven to be strong and independent, and not RELIANT on a man, but will fight alongside them. I think that final fight was beautiful, where eventhough Melissa isn't the main character, she herself built a bond with all the characters herself to achieve the comrades she has now.. From the support of the Emperor, who was previously a useless womanizer, to now being a competent ruler. A aloof brother who refused to extend help to Melissa, now becoming a shy but supportive and protective brother. And a red wolf with anger issues, to a red wolf with anger issues but atleast knows he's not invincible when stood opposite Melissa.. this was truly a beautiful story I loved the side stories. I loved how Melissa and Nine grew to love one another, and rely on eachother. The side story with Chelsea being their unofficial daughter because they can't reproduce, it was an adorable touch.. I also LOVED the story about Yona, where she's secretly the saintess candidate but wanted to be free of expectations and being imprisoned within the corrupt temple, only to meet a Mage who rescues her, but becomes imprisoned for kidnapping a saintess candidate and loses his mana. She later gets brought to the Podebrat estate where she lives free and has a reliable Duke to serve... what a beautiful story. Everything was so amazing... I loved it all. It felt like saving Yuri from the original plot was only the first half of the story, and that the rest was a completely different story. But I liked that there is an AFTER to all the events that take place in the 'book'. Usually the manhwa follows the events in the book, and ends with the final fight. But I'm glad we got to learn more about her journey and Melissa creating her own story, away from the author's wishes. I did wish I could see more of Jake. Or the others for that matter, but I'm still happy with how this story is written
How to Escape the Clutches of an Obsessive Top

What It Means to be You
Violet Winter Ash Shanon/Feron Hayel Ahhhhhh I loved this so much. The concept is so beautiful and deep, tackling the topics of self harm, depression, and suicide, then blooming into a beautiful story about two individuals growing to love eachother and themselves. I love that although Violet was never weak, she was finally given the support she truly needed to flourish. She has now grown to be so confident and self-assured. She never showed biasness nor discrimination, and used her time as royalty to bridge the gap between the royals and the common people- truly an admirable ruler. She had to endure so many hardships, it was hard to read, but her growth has made it such a beautiful story... Winter, though he still resorts to money as a ways of showing his affection, has also grown so much.. Once he made it clear that he worked so hard to amass a wealth fit for a princess, it was clear he DID have some feelings for Violet, but found it hard to express verbally. I think his relationship with Violet has really opened him up to accepting people's good intentions and respect for him, and not everyone is secretly against him. Their character developments were truly beautiful. Eventhough Ash didn't receive the punishment he should have for all the messed up stuff he did, I'm glad he's now gonna be subjected to the same cruelty of mistreatment from your in-laws that Violet did... He no longer holds a high status, and is completely reliant on his in-laws now, but they hate him... that was satisfying :3 I'm a bit mad that Winter's parents never met their punishment but oh well, not everything has to be satisfyingly resolved. Also I fucking love Hayel.. he's so fine. Overall, the concept of bodyswitching whenever one kills themselves is such an interesting concept; and the reveal was BEAUTIFUL. So beautiful I had to tell Dippy about it. And I'm glad the bodyswitching did end up coming in good use multiple times, but the manner of how they switch is so dark, so it makes the reveal just so CINEMA ahhhhh. I was holding my breath when Violet knew how to switch bodies, but Winter was constantly pressuring her to switch bodies, and later he was subjected to the same thing when he pretended he had found a different way to switch bodies aside from suicide, because he didn't want Violet to know he killed himself... Everything is just so wow..
