Mistake Lover

Complete | Merig | 2019 released

Zhenhao (Jingeon) Lin Dong Yan (Dongeon) Heeseo Seungwoo It was so frustrating. It was good! But frustrating even until the end. SO BASICALLY Heeseo is actually a very sensitive and self conscious guy, despite seeming like an airhead. He's naturally a lonely guy, so he seeks comfort in others who are nice to him and care for him (me too honestly), so he falls in love with people (usually older) quickly. However he fell in love with Seungwoo, who's younger than him- so when he was temporarily transferred to another branch to help out, he wanted Jingeon to cover for him at his current branch so he doesn't have to leave too soon. And the only way to convince him, is to tell him about a new crush on one of his coworkers- Dongyeon. Jingeon, being a skeptical guy, wanted to check out the new crush to see if they're good for Heeseo because he's been heartbroken before. TURNS OUT the reason why Jingeon is skeptical, is because there's previously been a guy that Heeseo dated, who only stayed with Heeseo because they wanted to eventually get with Jingeon. Heeseo doesn't know that Jingeon knows, so he secretly grew very self conscious of his lovers being introduced to Jingeon, so he decided to set him up with Dongyeon this time, so that when he DOES introduce Seungwoo to him, he'd already be dating someone KNOWING Dongyeon is Jingeon's type. Basically this was all a set up by Heeseo because he wanted to be with Seungwoo, whilst also eliminating the possibility of Jingeon stealing his lover, by acting as cupid for Jingeon and Dongyeon. HOWEVER, I don't know why tf, but Heeseo kept lying about having a crush on Dongyeon TO JINGEON AND SEUNGWOO, and kept threatening them both that he's going to confess. THEN HAS THE AUDACITY TO SAY "IVE GOT TO CONFESS TO A GUY I DONT LIKE LIKE THAT :(" LIKE WTF DO YOU MEAN, NO YOU DONT. YOU DIDNT HAVE TO DO ALL THAT DBAINROQNNRKMQC AHHHH. So yea... Heeseo is frustrating.. and even in the end, when he got with Seungwoo and had yet to come clean to Jingeon about him being messy af, HE DIDNT EVEN END UP DOING IT, Seungwoo had to do it for him, or Jingeon had to apologise for getting with his crush EVENTHOUGH HE NEVER EVEN HAD A CRUSH IN THE FIRST PLACE... and Dongyeon was just blissfully unaware... Also Seungwoo had liked Heeseo for a long time, since they met. But idk why he kept playing with Heeseo. He should have just confessed, but he kept playing silly games to toy with Heeseo. That was also frustrating... then when he knew EVERYTHING after Heeseo told him literally everything about the lie, he had the audacity to tell Jingeon that he was making Heeseo's life harder???? TF. I actually don't like this guy..

Baby Snow Leopard of the Black Leopard Family

Ongoing | | 2022 released

Thiel Iandros (Ian) Karthus Asterian Ludian and Ferdinand Chester Nestian Lowen I sob for this pitiful child... Growing up thinking she killed her mother; hated by her family and being so heavily mistreated, and even when she's finally found her happy place, she constantly feels like she's a burden to those around her... that fucking sucks. She's only 7 and she's having to think about such things. I'm glad that her father is such a caring man, contrary to his looks. He's so caring to his children and understanding. Even the twins are very caring on Thiel. I'm glad she finally has great people around her, even Ian

On Your Knees, Your Highness!

Ongoing | | 2022 released

Chloe Ambroise Curtis Shamberg I really love the main couple and their dynamic. Their personalities are also so similar, with both being stubborn, but it's funny seeing them butt heads like bros making bets. I love Chloe

Doctor Elise

Complete | Mini,Yuin | 2000 released

Elise Linden Michael Chris Lenne *Eldest brother* Greyham Fallon Yulian What a lovely story about a female lead that wants to write her wrongs and save people's lives. But one begs to question, what wrongs?? She was killed in her first life by Linden after committing heinous shit. But what did she do? It just seemed like she was a troublemaker, but that doesn't warrant being pinned and killed. So much so, in her next life, she became a doctor just to help people and to rid of her sins? What did she do??? From all the flashbacks, it just seemed like she was a loving wife to Linden for 6 years, only that she was still very childish, and he didn't like that? But why kill her? But it's still a lovely story. I got a bit confused near the end, cus did she go back into real life where she is a doctor, reading about a historical figures biography, but meeting a man that looked like Linden. I'm confused. Cus Edward (Elise and Linden's first son) would not look like that, when this was 150 years in the future. So I confuse. I love Michael so much TT__TT he was just dragged into all of his mother and uncle's debacle. He didn't deserve it... so I'm glad Linden chose to forgive, eventhough Michael did nothing wrong. It's sad to see that he still held feelings for Elise even after 5 years of moving to another border. I feel like the couples just suddenly came out of nowhere. I know the author probably feels bad if the people that had crushed on Elise didn't have a happy end, people would riot. But Dr.Fallon and Jay, Chris and Yullian came out of nowhere. Even Lenne's romance came out of nowhere. But it was still sweet

Lover Boy

Complete | Zec,제크 | 2016 released

Eunho Jaeha Hanjoon Hyesun It's a bit bitter sweet throughout, and a bit drawn out at times, but the ending was very warm and rewarding. There was so much pushing and pulling. Chasing and running away. It got tiring at times, but when everything was finally resolved (after the 5th time) and they truly aired out all their grievances, they could finally love eachother wholly, and that's wholesome

Onward

Ongoing | Hong Ssona | 2000 released

Si-on Seungwon Hajin Yiho Hajin Jiho Honestly I enjoyed the main story so much.. I loved Si-on and Seungwon's relationship and dynamic. Even if there was an age gap, it didn't feel off because neither sides act childish. They love eachother, and Seungwon was also protective of Si-on whilst respecting his boundaries about hid past. I loved the first couple.. And I love Yiho!! He came off as if he would be an absolute asshole, but he's actually really kind and caring. I thought he'd be the typical successor to a major business kinda seme, who is an asshole. But he's literally so kind to those around him, even the people in his gym love him. He also took Si-on in upon first meeting, and gave him a house without asking for anything in return... And he seems to care about Hajin a lot as well and goes out of his way to support him.. SO TELL ME WHY... this Hajin guy, WHOS MY AGE, is acting like a literal toddler who seemingly can't eat, sit or breathe by himself. Like he's totally incapable unless it's with Yiho's help TT_TT Like there's an extent to naivety, but this just borderline seems like a fetishization of younger looking people to teeter on whether this is pedophilia. Every time he sits on Yiho's lap, the author specifically makes him 10x smaller, but gives him some rabbit ears to make it not look weird, BUT ITS STILL WEIRD. He looks like Yiho's child.. and he acts it too. This man is a whole ass kpop idol, with authority in his group, and has an acting career. He cannot seriously be this childish when there's all this he's got going on. Idk, it seems counterproductive.

Things I Didn’t Know Because It Was The First Time

Ongoing | | 2022 released

Scarlet Victor Issac Honestly this story is so quick and slow at some points, and honestly it's kinda boring with how back and forth it is. Like I get it wanting to create this mystery, but it just seems like it's doing way to much?? I like the characters tho. Wait do i?? I'm a bit iffy about Scarlett honestly. She seems strong willed at times, but may also crumble at the slightest inconvenience. But I guess that's realistic, she did have to endure a lot. Victor's just kinda an asshole honestly. He keeps giving Scarlett mixed signals, but didn't even try in their relationship before they divorced, yet still assumed that Scarlett would just leave behind the shop she worked so hard to open, but because he doesn't view it as nice as palace life? Bro get over yourself

The Problematic Prince

Ongoing | | 2019 released

Erna Bjorn Gladys Pavel Lisa Leonid/ Louise This manhwa brings me so much tears.. it's so heartwretching but beautiful. It's everything I ever wanted. When Erna fell for Bjorn, Bjorn ended up falling harder but at the wrong time.. he had a whole year to show he sincerely cared for his wife, but even now, he treats her like she's solely dependant on him and that she's nothing much. How that bites him in the ass now.. it's beautiful It breaks my heart the way she found out, and yet he remained so aloof about it. To have miscarriage, yet forced to remain beautiful and put together because she's but a trophy, and doesn't want to trouble her husband.. that fucking broke me. And now she's fully broken, and it's gonna be hard to go back. And you can tell by her clothing choice- it's no longer white dressed with an abundance of frills and flowers anymore. They're now usually black or green. Simply dresses and not much frills. Her livelihood has been taken away by his wish to play silly games. What beautiful execution. I truly love Erna so much. People may find her aggrevating, but she truly tried her best. Even when she fully knew he didn't love her back, she still tried to enjoy basking in the joy of being a married couple with the man she loves. But there's only so much pain one can endure. And miscarriage is probably the hardest to endure. The audacity for Bjorn to demand she move back into the room she miscarried in, and thinking just buying her a bunch of stuff would make it better. He clearly lacks empathy, and he doesn't see that. My heart truly goes out to Erna. And I'm glad she's standing her ground. She exited and is bowing out with grace. Letting him stew in his own thoughts and regret his choices, eventhough he's still very stubborn now. Bjorn is such a stuck up man. Yes he's been through a lot, but his distrust in Erna, and his own selfishness has hurt her. And now he must suffer his actions or inactions. HE SHOULD SUFFER MORE HONESTLY BECAUSE CLEARLY HES STILL THINKING HE'LL WIN THIS DISPUTE, SINCE HES SO ADAMANT ERNA WILL JUST COME CRAWLING BACK I love Leonid so much. He's so fine. And he's very empathetic. He was neutral towards Erna since the beginning (but maybe it's because he knew the truth about Gladys being a cheating scumbag since the start?). But he treated Erna with respect when nobody else did. How is he genuinely twins with that man?? He's so gorgeous and fine, and kind, and smart.. he's the perfect crown prince if anything. Gladys you scum. How are you gonna beg your father for your own actions. You were pregnant with another man's baby, yet get married to a prince, only to try and cheat on said prince with your lover you cheated on. And when you were supposedly happy with your secret lover, you suddenly felt guilty and started yearning for Bjorn again, causing your lover to kill himself, then expect to crawl back into the position you thought you rightly deserve??? Whut??? How up your own ass do you gotta be... Pavel Lore. Oh how you have my heart (other than Leonid). My heart goes out to you my man. You're just a loyal friend, ofc you have feelings for Erna too, cus yall essentially grew up together! But not only do you have to give up on this love, Bjorn is trying to ruin your life at any given chance just because of his own jealousy and self consciousness. Bro... I love this manhwa so much, man..

Beware of the Villainess!

Ongoing | 뽕따맛스크류바,푸른칸나,Bbongdda mask ,Pureunkanna | 2019 released

Melissa Yuri Nine Ian (crown prince) Jake (brother) Jack (wolf) Peacock Melody *lmao* (rich guy) Kartena and Robbie What a beautiful story. It really flips it upside down. Sure it's the classic reincarnation story, but the concept of the book FL being aware that they're in a storybook, and having to constantly live this life without being able to stray from it, but it takes someone else to be reincarnated into the book to finally break your cycle.. that's a genius concept. I'm glad that Yuri ended up not dating any of the LIs, cus now she can finally live her life, free of the story cycle. I love that all the females in this story are proven to be strong and independent, and not RELIANT on a man, but will fight alongside them. I think that final fight was beautiful, where eventhough Melissa isn't the main character, she herself built a bond with all the characters herself to achieve the comrades she has now.. From the support of the Emperor, who was previously a useless womanizer, to now being a competent ruler. A aloof brother who refused to extend help to Melissa, now becoming a shy but supportive and protective brother. And a red wolf with anger issues, to a red wolf with anger issues but atleast knows he's not invincible when stood opposite Melissa.. this was truly a beautiful story I loved the side stories. I loved how Melissa and Nine grew to love one another, and rely on eachother. The side story with Chelsea being their unofficial daughter because they can't reproduce, it was an adorable touch.. I also LOVED the story about Yona, where she's secretly the saintess candidate but wanted to be free of expectations and being imprisoned within the corrupt temple, only to meet a Mage who rescues her, but becomes imprisoned for kidnapping a saintess candidate and loses his mana. She later gets brought to the Podebrat estate where she lives free and has a reliable Duke to serve... what a beautiful story. Everything was so amazing... I loved it all. It felt like saving Yuri from the original plot was only the first half of the story, and that the rest was a completely different story. But I liked that there is an AFTER to all the events that take place in the 'book'. Usually the manhwa follows the events in the book, and ends with the final fight. But I'm glad we got to learn more about her journey and Melissa creating her own story, away from the author's wishes. I did wish I could see more of Jake. Or the others for that matter, but I'm still happy with how this story is written

What It Means to be You

Ongoing | Lee Bora,Ranyong, Ocean | 2000 released

Violet Winter Ash Shanon/Feron Hayel Ahhhhhh I loved this so much. The concept is so beautiful and deep, tackling the topics of self harm, depression, and suicide, then blooming into a beautiful story about two individuals growing to love eachother and themselves. I love that although Violet was never weak, she was finally given the support she truly needed to flourish. She has now grown to be so confident and self-assured. She never showed biasness nor discrimination, and used her time as royalty to bridge the gap between the royals and the common people- truly an admirable ruler. She had to endure so many hardships, it was hard to read, but her growth has made it such a beautiful story... Winter, though he still resorts to money as a ways of showing his affection, has also grown so much.. Once he made it clear that he worked so hard to amass a wealth fit for a princess, it was clear he DID have some feelings for Violet, but found it hard to express verbally. I think his relationship with Violet has really opened him up to accepting people's good intentions and respect for him, and not everyone is secretly against him. Their character developments were truly beautiful. Eventhough Ash didn't receive the punishment he should have for all the messed up stuff he did, I'm glad he's now gonna be subjected to the same cruelty of mistreatment from your in-laws that Violet did... He no longer holds a high status, and is completely reliant on his in-laws now, but they hate him... that was satisfying :3 I'm a bit mad that Winter's parents never met their punishment but oh well, not everything has to be satisfyingly resolved. Also I fucking love Hayel.. he's so fine. Overall, the concept of bodyswitching whenever one kills themselves is such an interesting concept; and the reveal was BEAUTIFUL. So beautiful I had to tell Dippy about it. And I'm glad the bodyswitching did end up coming in good use multiple times, but the manner of how they switch is so dark, so it makes the reveal just so CINEMA ahhhhh. I was holding my breath when Violet knew how to switch bodies, but Winter was constantly pressuring her to switch bodies, and later he was subjected to the same thing when he pretended he had found a different way to switch bodies aside from suicide, because he didn't want Violet to know he killed himself... Everything is just so wow..
