MC is overpowered and the way he gets stonger was wayyy too fast. Although there were set backs, they weren't shown to the extent where we, as readers, can sympathise with and the quick way he got more skills was very unsatisfying (bro was on lvl 200 something after a chapter or two wth). This is a good example on how cheats are made and portrayed badly (see 'solo leveling' or 'Hell Mode: Yarikomi Suki no Gamer wa Hai Settei no Isekai de Musou Suru' for a good example of an underdog getting a good skill and using it well). Also, that slave chick is literally just fan service. Why is it so hard for manga artists to draw/write a female character who is close to the protagonist that isn't sexualised within the next 3 chapters of them meeting??? She does shit all except for be a pretty face. And the same can be said for literally all of the female characters, they are all there to either be (a) pretty or (b) fawn over the MC. You can argue 'well, that slave girl is a powerful wizard so she is a good representation' and I'd tell you to shut the fuck up immediatly. Istg if anyone sees her as a 'good female character'...... And don't even get me started on the overdramatic fight scenes and the weird postering that's done either, fucking hell.
