They met when they were 14. She is the daughter of a duke and she marries him because the duke has her mother. He doesn't recognize her ans she is heartbroken. He hates her because she is the duke's child. He just learned that the child he met when he was 14 died and he is devastated. He has a nightmare about it and wakes up crying, and she cries with him.

The prince of another country is working with the empress dowager : they put the curse on the emperor. The prince makes Celestia an offer : if she helps him sealing away the undead that attacks his country, he will lift the curse. The empress dowager plans to attack the emperor on his birthday.
