Candy Man

Complete | Chanok,Romantic Restaurant | 2019 released

Alright so I ain't gonna lie, this is toxic af. But hear me out. What if we just ignore that this is meant to be a romance for a minute and look at the rest? Pure genius. This is the most hilarious shit I've ever seen. Basically MC made one minor moral mistake (catfishing) and the situation keeps escalating beyond the scope of his wildest imagination. I don't know what's going to happen now, and it may not be as good when they try to brush off Kimin's bipolar tendencies for the sake of BL, but boy did I get my time's worth out of those few chapters. EDIT: I'm starting to wonder if this is a parody. Kyuyeon's started spouting cliche yaoi lines left and right like it's his job, and went from being terrified of Kimin to wanting his attention in 1 chapter.

The Villain Demands I Love Him

Ongoing | 오미자청 | 2019 released

That sure was interesting. I was already hooked when I heard it's the ML that gets reincarnated but that's only the beginning. The good stuff is how he decides to deal with it. Villainesses always plan things out carefully and every move is calculated, but that's not the case with this guy! The moment he wakes up he grabs a horse and runs straight to her. Still in his PJ's, he cries, drops to his knees, and begs for her hand in marriage. Better yet, he asks her which limb he should cut off to prove he's sincere, tells her she can beat him, and offers to literally give her everything he has and more. If that doesn't sound like a top tier manhwa to you then I don't know of anything that would. EDIT: Gets sorta mediocre after the bit I just described.

A Stepmother's Märchen

Ongoing | orka | 2019 released

FL isn't op or anything but she doesn't really have a man to depend on as of now so she gets things done by herself however difficult it may be. I think the ML is nice but we've seen him in what, 4 chapters? EDIT: Dropped at 55 chapters. Why then? No particular reason, I just got that far before taking a long break and when I came back I decided this ain't worth it. There's no romance. After 56 it's just epilogues and even those don't seem like much.

Worn and Torn Newbie

Ongoing | 레고밟았어, 보늬,보늬, Redice Studio | 2000 released

I can confidently say the quality hasn't gone down since TRK. You could say this one is a little more comedy focused. This is basically about a chaotic neutral guy causing havoc in nothing but a cape and pair of pink rainboots. And I mean that literally, his junk is out there for everyone to see. It's hard to imagine a better premise than this.

Angelic Lady

Ongoing | Susu,waffle fu | 2020 released

There's literally zero romance for now but I am DOWN for a good revenge plot. She's not like "I want to live", this bad bitch's middle name is karma and she's gonna serve it!

The Destroyer Fell in Love with Me

Ongoing | Yoondal,Haring | 2000 released

I've said it before and I'll say it again, thirsty FL's are the best. This case is like in between full on hoeing and hating/disliking ML in that she clearly struggles to hold herself back when looking at his gorgeous bod while also trying to stay away so that she's not involved when he turns in to a homicidal maniac/falls for og mc. If only she gained the confidence to stop him in his tracks with the power of love... I've seen people complain about the art but imo it's good.

See You In My 19th Life

Ongoing | Lee hye | 2020 released

I kinda wish she'd tell him but at the same time I'm enjoying the suspense. I love the FL's personality. The whole concept of a modern world where she keeps being reborn (not possessing another's body) is cool.

The Music Box Of Petals

Complete | Nuroo | 2000 released

A bit of a let down. It just gets boring and feels like no progress is being made. The couple doesn't get together until the last chapter so there isn't any pay off to all that build up either...

One Take

Complete | 김쿠키, 애플파이,찰밥 | 2000 released

i thought this would be mediocre and now I'm getting in to it. The mc has some shame while also becoming obsessed ridiculously quickly, so we end up in this contradictory scenario where he's unapologetically fanboying over his (future) man in his head but playing it cool on the outside. I like the dynamic of having one character in love from the start even though being a fan isn't exactly like that. I get the feeling the other dude likes him and is just being really secretive about it though. EDIT: Not sure where they're going with this, suddenly it's a mystery drama... EDIT 2: Just realized this finished but I'm not reading anymore, they don't seem like they'll get together until right at the end.

Killer the Housemate

Ongoing | Chul gamyun | 2019 released

Comedy is *chef's kiss*. I'm just as conflicted about the other guy as the mc, which is a first. Overall a solid series. No comment on romance since as of now there really isn't any. EDIT: OMG thank you mooniloon it's been more than a year with no updates even though the raws are complete! I was seriously starting to just look at the pictures at one point since I can't read Korean.
