Read the novel. Mc is a mushroom that develops consciousness in an apocalyptic world and after ml steals his spore the most important thing to him. He encounters a human that's dying from a monster attack, he brings him into a cave and starts drinking his blood to stop his bleeding, he slowly gets his memories and learns human language. Said human talks to him about the base (there are a few but only two are still standing - one is underground in America and one is in asia) and his life stories than he dies. Our little mc absorbs him and takes his form and ventures out to the base. He notices monsters not attacking him and gets to a desert like opening there he meets other humans who are scared thinking he's infected (one gets infected by being injured by a monster), he is deemed safe after an examination. He goes with them (3 guys) one tries to rape him and gets killed by the other that was infected but didn't want to tell so he and the last dude flee. They befriend each other on rhe way to the base and at tge entrance the dude is killed by the Judge (aka ml- he has authority to kill anyone he deems infected ) because he was infected by a small scrape. The Judge brings Ml to the laboratory to get tested cuz he thought ml was infected but he didn't act like he was. He was negative and let free. Stuff happens they get closer the outer city is bombed cuz of a breach. In tge main city tgey get even closer, mc finds his spore and steals it while mc was saving the other base. Mc mother turns into a bee and ml is captured and tortured, he flees and ml comes back and goes after him. They find each other ml and mc get even closer find a child and his gramps go out into a city find a monster hide, gramps dies, they find out everything is fusing together, they get scared. Ml faints because his spore wants to flee, ml hugs him till he wakes up they kiss. Mc makes him eat a bit of him and ml faints after that mc leaves his spore with him and flees knowing he'll die soon. The base comes to pick up the boy and mc. Ml goes into the abyss and meets tge guy he made a doll of he was infected but remained his human consciousness. He brings him in the sky on a mountain to the research institute where he meets lots of humans like the doll guy. Everyone is nice especially an old man he treats him like his child and he's happy but sad for leaving mc he doesn't understand and old man tells him it's love, he coughs blood his end nearing. He sacrifices himself cuz he's the solution to himan salvation and mc sees it. 3 yrs later he is reborn from his spore and remembers everything.

Fl lead was abused by her stepbrother aka the emperor and sent to a dumb ass king who had a lover and abused her. She then got a massage from the hot black haired sorcerer aka ml aka cute kitty that the emperor and his nephew died aka were killed by the red haired crazy duke and his ever crazier daughter. So she made a deal with the ml tht ahe wants to divorce the king so that she can become emperor not her husband. Basically she successfully manages to pull it off and they kinda fall in love in the process (at first the promises to give him her life fore stone, basically she uses half her life force to create a stone which helps him gain power and later when she didn't succeed at first she offered him to take it but he declined saying that he also wants her as the emperor kya) So now shes the emperor and returnet to the palace where her cute childhood fried is her adviser and she gains trust of a few of the vessels (her uncle, buff red dude, the dude who she helped with the play - so that the blue haired people are not ostracised aka his wife, the classy old lady who drank too much and another one) The red head crazy family returned from war and are after the throne and her hubby protects her

Fl is the King's half sis, he's a tyrant and killed everyone in the Palace except for the fl because he thinks she's crazy -she does act that way. He gave his sis to ml as his wife and ml dotes on her and he's the only one who knows that she can talk and that she isn't crazy. The father of ml has a misstres who is probably sent by the King. The parent's had a fight. Fl was almost poisoned by the 2 maids sent by the King. Ml saved her and now ml is about to take over the position of head because his father doesn't do shut.
