Wow!...I really enjoyed that. When I started reading this I didn't really expect much but what I got was a well thought out and developed story. The character development was A class- loved both leads. Honestly wish there was a sequel- maybe set in the future where beast people and humans now live together but beast people still face discrimination. And the main leads child (preferably a girl) could be the main character. Maybe a high ranking government official still trying to bridge the gap especially as a half-human, half-beast. But if not, the way it ended was bittersweet- it's always difficult to change things but eventually with enough fight and support, it can happen. "I absolutely love this story and how realistically it portrayed the inequality and discrimination of another species."- Defo agree with this comment made by a reveiwer (was edited to make more sense by me). Ahhhhhhh: so I finished reading a similar other story and kept thinking that they were similar. Even the translator hinted at this. I then did some research and discovered that it was a sequel!! I believe it’s based on the male leads son as he has the same surname as the female lead (I don’t think beastmen get surnames). I’ve written more on the sequel comments just didn’t think that in 16 years, nothing would have really changed. Like wow. I was expecting their child to be fighting to get rid of discrimination and not simply being the first beast person to start high school. Nah man, this was just beautiful. The whole reincarnation concept was handled beautifully- it was a little bittersweet but I really enjoyed this. And the ending was so wholesome and lovely. Honestly I'm loving this mangaka's stories and art style.

What absolute cuties, really enjoyed reading this manga. Like honestly, what a beautiful and wholesome story. It was also funny at appropriate times. Really liking how all this mangaka's characters look different- especially their eyes. This mangaka's use of facial expressions is breathtaking. "You work to live, not the other way around." -this has now become one of my favourite life quotes. Wow, this hit me real hard. -Work shouldn’t be seen as a burden but as something that helps you to continue living

I had a smile on my face throughout reading this manga. Honestly what a wholesome read! I really enjoyed it and loved how well they communicated with each other. It also has a live-action movie, if I want to check it out. Prequel to: Restart wa Onaka wo Sukasete.

Sequel to: Restart wa Tadaima no Ato de. Nah their friend Harada is such a sweet person and an amazing friend. Lol just had to say this. Anyways, finished the story and once again really enjoyed it. It was so wholesome and fluffy. Honestly I really love and appreciate when couples communicate their problems and remember that their love is a partnership- and this manga handled/resolved its "problem" well. Well wouldn't call it a problem but not sure how to phrase it. But it was defo a pleasant read, similar to its prequel. However, I have wandered why Mitsuomi brothers never visited home or at least contacted him. Has a live action movie that I haven't watched yet titled: Restart After Coming Home.

Remembering reading vol 1 a while ago but don't believe I've ever read vol 2. Really enjoyed reading it. Re-read vol 1 and continued to vol 2 for the 1st time. Chp.9= the communication we have been waiting for and I absolutely loved it. It wasn't drawn out and their realisation that they both feel the same way (2 yrs after dating) is so cute. Defo agree with this comment: "The pace was perfect. I loved how the story didn't end after they started dating and showed how the dynamic of their relationship developed onwards. They also had healthy communication! Honestly, this was so sweet and a good read overall." 9/11/21 (mummy’s birthday): re-read, still as good as I remember.

14/8/21: Loved the story from start to finish. The pacing, plot and art were just beautiful. Only criticism- the pages of some chapters were not in the correct order but I was still able to follow the story/plot. The 10yrs later extra just made me wish that they had a sequel coz I would love to read more about they relationship and it's development. The communication between the 2 was A-one. Super wholesome read. Defo agree with the below comment: "Wow. It's kinda rare to see someone in yaoi grow before our very eyes. I mean we got to see Oto grow from from a little kid, teen, to adult. We even saw his puberty and growth spurt in high school. He kept on looking better as he grew taller/mature. They look so good 10 years later; by far one of the best looking couples with a 10 year later storyline or time skip. Oto looks hotter with long hair. Sora is way cute. Though I was sceptic just coz Sora's story was so good but I honestly think that Ryu's may have been a little better. The story was immaculate. Both character's personality was beautiful, their communication was spectacular and their reasoning/thoughts/fears made sense.
