big fan of this author tbh the mc's mindset was confusing but it was explained and overall was sweet and cute also is liking a guy (as a guy) okay as long as u dont identify as gay ???????????? the mental gymnastics amazes me

the storytelling here is amazing i love that both couples stories were alternating it added to the intrigue !! the love here is so pure and supportive and v thematically strong so so good im sobbing as we speak

i always avoid historical romance bc of the classism and power imbalance tropes so in turn when its a couple that treat each other like equals and with love n mutual respect it shakes my whole being this is chefs kiss im so happy for them :) tw for sexual assault on a minor (not between main couple) yea it was not put in a good light but the abuser still got away scot free bc hes in a position of power over mc haha JAIL

this plays out like a fanfic writing scenario which is the highest compliment in my book... thank you... thank you

@chapt 7 wahhh ummm mmm... concept is interesting having a society where ppl can only tell truths and outliers (ahaha outliars) can lie but where im at it feels weird??? to have this gripping premise be set in school with teenage boys they dont feel young and so my suspension of disbelief is a bit wobbly there

SEVERELY underestimated this its so ridiculous at the beginning but everything else is perfect this is god tier pining im ACTUALLY shaking ppl seem to hate the misunderstandings but its v entertaining to me so i actually love it notes for the 'lighthearted' child neglect also the mvp mom friend that radiates ace vibes
