Ordinary Men
This is what being LGBT+ should really be about. No need for any coming-outs, no judgement, just, normal, love. No one to criticize it whatsoever. I loved this story, it was so sweet, and it made me dream of a more accepting future. No doubt, this one truly lives up to its title 'Ordinary Men'. That's all it is. Ordinary and normal.
Cheese In The Trap Manhwa
Till Our Lips Touch
Sebastian Jung was the hottest teacher, that is, until Isaac Han arrived. Tall, intelligent, and beautifully brooding, Isaac has it all and Sebastian knows this all too well. In the past, they had shared a sultry after school romance. Now, Isaac is back. Can Sebastian resist falling for Isaac again or will his lips yearn for his touch? ---------- If you are looking for a fluffy story without unnecessary drama, and just want to giggle and enjoy the show, this one could be it. An overall really sweet story. I wasn't a fan of Isaac's characters, as I found him too wishy-washy at the beginning of the story. But as they got back together I had a few giggles and him and Sebastian made a pretty cute pair. As a personnal preference, I'd have preffered for Don and Greg's relationship to remain platonic in nature, for them to merely be two supporting characters. But it's not that uncommon in BLs to get a close friend of the main couple who's interested in another character. So Don's implied feelings for Greg didn't come as a surprise at all. Anyhow, it's a cute story.
Moon and Sun(Abe Akane)
Masahiro, the son of a yakuza, along with a few friends of his, made a ruckus in a drag place. Little did he know that Hanatarou, his childhood friend happened to work there. The latter gave him and his friends a beating, and kept Masahiro from leaving, as his friends had already fled the scene, Hanatarou and his coworkers are obviously expecting an apology from him, but he refuses and further belittles them. It is then that Hanatarou's master, Tsubaki enters the room and quickly grasps the situation. But Masahiro being too immature and stubborn to know when to apologize, Tsubaki decides to teach him a lesson. ---------- I really liked this pairing's dynamic and the Artstyle. But this manga's pacing felt rushed. Overall I liked it, but it would have felt more natural with a few more chapters, to let the characters get more acquainted to one another, so that it'd feel more natural and less pushed on the reader. In the end, you do feel the chemistry between Masahiro and Tsubaki, but all in all it was too fast paced of a story, so believing that 'they're in love' was pretty difficult for me.
Ano Ko wa Sore wo Gaman Dekinai
Junya accidentally intrudes on his gay childhood friend and roommate, Akiyoshi, while he’s in the midst of a steamy hookup. Junya finds he can’t tear his eyes away from his friend’s “O face” or stop appreciating his rough pace in bed. Akiyoshi protests, but Junya eventually seduces his reluctant roommate into some hot groping and a little anal play to boot! So why does Akiyoshi continue to refuse to seal the deal? ---------- I really liked the chemistry between Jun and Aki. Jun's overall character and his personality were so relatable, him and Aki were both really likeable. The Artwork's amazing to look at, I'd have enjoyed if their story had been a bit longer, I felt there could easily be more to this manga. But even as a short story like it is it already was pretty enjoyable. ----- The heck was that side-story though......
