Sarah, the tough girl accidentally meets Elios, a blind young man her age. Elios is very mysterious and makes Sarah curious. Is Elios hiding something? Will Sarah fall in love with him? ---------- I absolutely loved this. Elios' character is mesmerizing, fascinating, intriguing and deep. I loved Sarah's earnest and mischievous personality. Sigit's complexity and aloofness. Every single side character had something that made me want to keep on reading about them and their stories. I became so invested in this story in a way that I hadn't been for a long time. I loved to see each plot device being resolved, every obstacle being overcome and the characters' traumas being addressed and tackled with such realism. Nothing felt rushed or brushed over. Be it the friendships or the romantic relationships within this, I loved to read it all and got excited for what would come next. There is such a nice balance between the more comedic and more serious storyline. It managed to feel light-hearted to read at times, then, then thing you know, it would feel so heavy and serious. Such a masterpiece. I was taken aback by it in every way possible.

Though we get closer, the gap that can't be crossed. Our uncertain relationship - warm like pastel colors, but unable to burn hotly like primary colors. This fall is the beginning of the campus couple that'll make your heart race. ----------- The plot's basic and straight to the point: Two childhood friends discovering that there could be more between them. Woojin & Gayoung's relationship is quite endearing. I liked that this wasn't rushed. We were first shown Gayoung's perspective, her slow coming to terms with how she felt towards her up-to-then friend. Then, the story slowly turns the spotlight onto Woojin's point of view. We watch him as he slowly realizes and comes to terms with how he'd always felt unknowingly. We then see how these two friends learn how to love one another. How these two individuals who'd always interacted with each other without restraint start to get flustered and embarrassed over things which used to not matter to them. I liked how real their relationship felt. Their characters had depth and were far from being perfect. Seeing Gayoung overcome her past traumas and learn from it was also quite moving. I like how the author didn't take the easy way with Chanhee's character making him fall for someone else later on, but instead shows him in another light with the way he'd text and act around Woojin. And Gayoung's relationship and troubles with her two friends Eugene and Ari was also quite well handled. It's very realistic the way that the author would depict their conflicts as well as Eugene's internal dilemmas regarding her toxic relationship and Woojin. When Gayoung noticed the way that Eugene would sometimes stare at Woojin later on and how she'd handle it by distancing herself from it was unfortunate for their friendship, but also quite realistic. Moon-O & Chanhee's side story about how they'd grown to be the friends that they are now, as well as Moon-O's own individual struggles was nice as well. All in all, it's a good read.
