I Stole The Male Lead's First Night
Cat in a Cardboard Box
Moonlight Howling
I'm interested in this story's potential as I find Eunwoo and Heo Yoon to be endearing characters, but so far every other chapter contains a sex scene, if not that being the chapter's entire content intself, and it both annoys and bores me quite a bit. This leaves no room for any character and relationship development, let alone for any intrigue to actually set itself in place.
Keeper of the Pearl
This is the story of two lovers, Jae Moon and Ji Yeon, fated for each other as a dragon is to its pearl. Their love overcame the barrier of hierarchy, but the star-crossed lovers were torn apart when one of them was killed in a tragic incident. The reincarnated Jae Moon and Ji Yeon are reunited once again in the present time. With such a tragedy in their past lives, will the two be able to rekindle the feelings they had for each other from a happier past? ---------- This was so boring I could have fallen asleep. The pacing is terrible, Jae Moon & Ji Yeon's relationship, as fated as it may be according to the plot, just felt rushed in every way and obnoxiously unnatural. There's an unnecessary amount of uncomfortably psychotic side characters. Be it Ryan or Choi Jung-Myung, both of them made me so uncomfortable. Ryan's first impression is that of him jumping on, then smelling and rubbing himself against Jae Moon, then right after, he goes all creep-mode following Jae Moon around. He films everything and then tries to manipulate those around him... Then Jung-Myung, straight-up invades someone's privacy and stalks, then kidnaps him, and last but not least, attempts murder for the most pathetic reason of them all...... These two just made me feel uncomfortable. They also were so unnecessary within this story to begin with. The plot being a rather simple one, it could've done perfectly fine without their inclusion. If not better as it could have been an interesting story if it had been handled differently. The focus should also have been more onto the relationship and the past lives, giving the two main characters more time to build some backstory and thus, have more weight. This just felt like really lazy and poor writing honestly. The Artstyle also isn't exactly my cup of tea.
