Part-time Lecturer at an Art Prep School (20) x Sculpture Teacher (32) - I really like this story! Although I don't like plots involving at some point some anonymous stalker or weirdo secretly lurking around and bullying the uke and warning him to stay away from the seme and such, I really like the prep art school as setting and I was really liking the characters and the development of their relationship. The art is also beautiful. I especially like how the mangaka drew their eyes and their various expressions! Too bad that the story is unfinished and, if it remains like this, it's not even yaoi but shounen ai, as they didn't reach the point of being intimate yet, apart from that one good kissing scene. So, I would really love to see what would happen next, but sadly the story has been unfinished for so many years already...

// Complete // Man, if all BLs were like this! It was so well-written, with good characters, dynamics and development. I liked their relationship and interaction. The pace was just right. And there was such a nice vibe going on, rendered by the warm atmosphere of the shopping street and Hide's house and family and especially by the characters' sweetness! I really loved everything! A satisfying heart-warming reading!

Gay Photographer x Straight Editor // Seme x Seme Concept - There's no way around it...seeing two mature grown-up men interacting with each other and getting all hot and bothered, it's really something else! I love this type of couples where both guys are manly and self-confident. I really liked it. The only thing that I have to complain about is that line where the photographer, who in the end was the seme, said that he would take a big blow as a man if he would end up bottoming...that kinda ruined it a bit, especially when there was such potential for them to become a reversible couple...

// Complete // Can't help it, this is one of those coming of age gems I love to read, so I loved it so much! The dynamics and interaction between the characters were also my type. And I love this author's art style: somehow this type of trait made me feel like I was really reading a story between two guys. I really loved the vibe of this story! I liked how the author portrayed the confused, new sensations of two innocent boys in puberty. I also liked the thing about communicating through letters. Nowadays it may seem so outdated, but, even if it's a fictional story, I was glad to see that there was someone like Natsume who appreciated this kind of thing, as I am into vintage stuff myself. Anyway, I liked everything from beginning to end and the pace and development, so I'm really satisfied. By the way, I really like the title "Growing Pains". And I was somehow touched when I read the afterword because the author said she wrote this story with all of her preferences in mind and I liked all the things she said! Those are exactly the ones I love too. No wonder then that I loved this! It was really the story for me! And I have this fulfilling feeling, you know, that you have when you finally come across your kind of story. I'm so glad I found this! ^^ > It reminded me a bit of the story "Shiro No Koro".

The gay bar's Mama: "You two need to start going out already." // "There's a hotel I get along with well behind my shop. The two of you. Go now." // "Go to the hotel one more time!!" - haha I loved this! So funny! I think the comedy was really this story's strong point! Together with the intimate|sex scenes of course hehe I really like to see two manly guys getting hot for each other, especially with a buff uke like Meguro, who was actually top and turned uke! Well, the plot was nothing impressive, it was the simple, comical kind, but it was my kind of thing, you know, with friends finding themselves in those situations, starting masturbating together and such, so I really liked it! It was an enticing situation and it was really funny to read about this idiotic couple being oblivious about their feelings till the very end! If not for Mama's persuasive advice and intervention, who knows what would have become of these two idiots haha! Anyway, it's not necessarily my favourite, but I really enjoyed it, so I totally recommend it! # Uni Students (both 21 y.o.)
