??? It's quite different from the novel, from the meeting, backstories and even the character of the mc and side charas. Beginning is a bit forced and rushed, but overall, it's not terribly bad. It just reads differently compared to the novel as if it was a separate work with the same premise. Kinda feels like a new spin on the original like a fic which is quite interesting lol
