dropped at ch20 because im so ANNOYED at the wimpy female lead. like wth i don't understand any of her choices at all. she transmigrates into a novel where she felt sorry for the villain who had an abusive childhood. she meets him but all she does is cry then run away. then she remembers that the villain starts killing ppl so she runs out of her house IN HER NIGHTGOWN + IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT to his home. she reaches there with no explanation and just clings to the ML and asks him not to leave her alone, when she leaves she asks the ML not to leave the house. she then starts feeling "troubled" because her love is like "poison" to the ML cause 1) she is the daughter of the guy who killed ML's parents 2) she has a soulmate mark while investigations showed that the Ml doesn't have one. -.- she desperately hides the fact she has the soulmate mark from the ML but she blows hot and cold with the ML because she doesn't want him to become heartbroken when he finds the truth.. gurl if u don't want him to fall for you then tell him about ur soulmark, stop leading him on. her wishy washy attitude and general inaptitude pissed me off so much i had to drop it.

ch150 - really funny and enjoyable read? lol the MC and ML1 both complement each other, MC is your typical weak fujoshi type girl, ML1 your brash personality guy. MC and 2 guys transmigrate - ML1 into body of a noble lady, MC into her servant - ML1 becomes concubine of emperor (xiao bai) who is cursed by one half of an artefact - he needs the 2nd half to remove the curse - ML1 volunteers to go to enemy country as tribute to retrieve the artefact, MC follows. ML1 gets given to 1st prince - they find out that ML2 has transmigrated into body of woman as well and is involved with 1st prince and in love with him. MC gets involved with 2nd prince of that country (xiao hei), he has access to the artefact as well. MC is poisoned with gu, xiao hei takes the gu into his body before going to battlefield, MC is then kidnapped by the brother of the mastermind behind her poisoning - in the end the mastermind dies from the gu (mastermind is adopted into the family, poisoned with gu to let the real son sit on the throne, however real son has no intension of sitting on throne, so mastermind respects his wishes, and so dies from not fulfilling his promise). Xiao hei comes to rescue MC, the poisoner takes his gu into his body (prob as compensation and to accompany mastermind in death). In the meantime, ML1 gets framed and sent to prison, where he meets the 1st son of king who was imprisoned and poisoned by the contaminated blood (similar to xiao bai), together w xiao bai they set him free and uses him to replace the 1st prince (ML1 sends 1st prince to ML2 lol). They target the emperor and kidnap him.

ch36.1 - this story sends shivers down my spine with how GOOD it is, the plot is amazing T_T can more manga be like this MC is a pharmacist who was kidnapped and sold to the inner palace as a maid, she ends up saving the baby princess (poisoning via face powder) thus become the attendant her mother, one of the favoured consorts and doubles as food taster. She also spikes the interest of a "eunuch" in charge of the inner palace (aka ML). She helps him solve various mysteries in palace. MC later is dismissed from her position (due to her kidnappers being part of a faction that lost power). However, later ML hires her to work in the outer court as his attendant. A sly old officer approaches ML to obtain MC - seems like he's her real father, he fell for a famous consort however the bidding for her drove her price up, in order to reduce her price, he made her pregnant. Now MC is investigating a series of incidences (death of a court official in charge of ceremony a year ago, arson destroying ceremony items, craftsman's legacy involving easily melted metal), seemingly unrelated but all culminating in the tools of a ceremony being remade and tampered with to crash down - MC rushes in to halt the ceremony and manages to save ML who was conducting the ceremony but gets hurt herself. She was actually stopped at the entrance however her father shows up and lets her through. Culprit turns out to be court lady sui rui but she faked suicide, swapped out her body for another and escaped. MC gets sent to inner palace again to take care of a consort's pregnancy. She's also asked to grow blue roses by ML for a viewing party. In the beginning the ML might seem like your typical overbearing ML but he actually respects MC's boundaries, when he finds out MC would be dismissed, he did not scheme to keep her in the inner palace, you can see how affected he is by the MC, initially she was just an interesting plaything, but now she means so much more to him and it reflects in his actions. MC is gorgeous as her usual deadpan pessimistic self, she keeps her head down to prevent courting misfortune, she keeps other ppl's secrets, she's actually really kind. She is observant and high analytical and intelligent. The only thing that gets her excited is pharmacy/interesting plants.

ch14 Mc is a calculating businesswoman who got engaged to a count to make it easier to conduct business, count family needs their money. However, events start happening according to a book that MC is publishing, possibly because of the illustrator who is a banshee with prophetic powers. FL is a commoner turned noble who gets involved with MC's fiance, her brother and the prince. MC meets the prince when secretly filming her fiance's affair for evidence, she schemes to have fiance pay palimony when he breaks the engagement. Meanwhile they get banshee to change storyline so that FL ends up with fiance and not the prince, and the prince ends up with MC instead.

ch23 MC is basically an airhead but somehow manages to get everyone to fall in love with her including the heroine and other female characters. ok read but frustrating how MC is a high schooler but acts like a kid. characters: MC, her fiance the prince, her adopted brother, prince's younger brother, prime minister's son and daughter (also her bff in past life?), her cousin (also prince younger bro's fiance), and the heroine (commoner with light magic).

ch11.3 (for some reason ch11.2 and 11.3 are the same chapters) ahhh seems super interesting, i really like our deadpan MC who calmly analysed her situation and levelled up till lvl 99. <3 ML is a another student (not part of the capture targets) who has experience in battle/training knights and even tho she's lvl 99 he still tried to protect her kyaaa so cute mc got baited into joining a competition cause she wants the prize (amulet to increase dark magic) and she wins of course, the sword battle by shattering her opponent's sword with her fist, the magic battle by summoning a black hole and scaring everyone including the judges.
