I loved this story! Shapeshifting beast-men and a society where the herbivores were often at risk of being subjugated by carnivores was the backdrop for this story. Students Shirou (white wolf) and Kuroto (flopsy eared bunny) were the MCs who were drawn to each other despite any expected prejudice. They were both adorable, I could happily keep reading stories set in this world.

So adorable, these guys were falling for each other from the moment that kimono opened. Seme: Asami. 19 years old. Works at his sisters stretch gym. Fit with a perfect masculine body. Has a chest fetish and has found his perfect fit in Yutaka’s perfectly plump, magnificent chest. Willing to take advantage of Yutaka’s childlike innocence to get his hands and mouth on that chest but each interaction with this beautiful man strikes at his heart (as well as making him horny). Uke: Yutaka Someno. 28 years old. Kimono and Yukata tailor, lover of sweets, “pigeon” chested (plump chest in this story). Very sweet and naive (even gullible). Pure, innocent, a little clueless and totally swept along by the handsome Asami. A bit of a chatterbox and a seriously adorable guy.

I totally loved this story. The otherworldly supernatural elements were perfect and added to the twirl of emotions this story wrought. Shounen-ai Seme: Kihachi. Ancient Bakeneko from the end of the Edo period. Tall, dark, often with feline features and able to change form. Magical being and Koudan storyteller. Loved Souta almost from the moment they met eyes for the first time. Caring and protective of Souta but keeps a little distance emotionally. Uke: Matoi Souta. Kihachis’ ‘Little Sparrow.’ Lonely, terribly overworked salaryman who is so ground down by his existence even thoughts of suicide stir no feelings. When he watches a Koudan performance he is enthralled by the story and the storyteller. Fascinated by Kihachi and his world. A gentle and sweet guy; you just want good things for him.

This was a wonderfully lighthearted story that was full of fun and impossible to take seriously. Haru Nezaki. Freshman with bangs that cover his eyes. At school on a scholarship. Uninterested in Yamoto (a rude shock to all). Scary eyes but a non scary personality, a little shy at first and serious but when he gets to know you he is sweet. Mikado Yamoto. Senpai to Nezaki, Student Council President, Scion of the world leading financial conglomerate The Yamato Group, excels at sports, perfect grades, dashingly handsome, incredibly self confident (getting the picture yet?) and stunned by the beauty of a freshman’s smiling face. Sounds like someone obnoxious? Well Yamoto is, but in the sweetest, silliest way. It’s impossible to be offended by his boundless confidence even as he experiences his first ever rejection at the hands of Nezaki.

Simply, perfectly adorable. Childhood friends Rei (from a poor background) and Makoto (young master, son of large hospital owner) reunite after 7 years. These boys met when Rei saved Makoto from bullies and the shy little Makoto patched him up. For years the devoted Makoto tended any injuries Rei incurred but after school they went their separate ways; Makoto became a doctor and Rei a host dedicated to making money. When they reunited that lifetime of trust blossomed into love and a beautiful story of being in love and communication. Truly sweet and adorable, this is worth a read Σ>―(〃°ω°〃)♡→

Playboy Aoi and quiet Kotaru couldn’t be more different. When these two end up meeting for the first time the savvy Aoi is able to read Kotaru like a book. But not all the pages on this serious young man are transparent as even Kotaru learns things about himself as the two strike up a friendship with benefits. But for Kotaru, there comes pain of being honest with himself. He isn’t the sort of guy who can separate love for Aoi from casual sex. So cutting ties will restore his equilibrium..won’t it? This is a lovely story really. Even the scenes in the beginning when you were bracing for the trope Yaoi rape scene, Aoi demanded consent. Now that was sexy stuff.

This is one of the sweetest stories ever drawn. Tiny but feisty, college student Isumi Sakuraba is ID checked late one night by Officer Amasawa who mistook the pretty faced youth for a minor on the streets. The little tsundere met Amasawa again at his place of employment, a local convenience store frequented by the local police. At this second meeting the the tall officer with the sunny disposition and sweet smile sought help choosing a meal and Sakuraba (a member of the cooking club) selected a thoughtful combination of foods that was received with much appreciation. This is the beginning of a new friendship where as the reader I fell for Sakuraba’s cat like eyes and rare smiles, and Amasawa’s gentle sweetness and kind ways. Their romance was so endearing it was sad to turn that last page.

Childhood friends Yousuke and Shuu knew each other for a short time when they were young, but that meeting left a lasting impression on them both. Now in senior year at high school Shuu is staying at his grandmothers home and attending the same school as Yousuke. Shuu’s cold and prickly attitude towards the warmly extroverted Yousuke leads him to think that Shuu is holding a grudge from the past. However, that wasn’t going to stop Yousuke from confronting the quiet boy and learning what the problem really was. This story is so adorable, carried by the caring and kind Yousuke as we follow his side of the story (for the most part), experiencing his growing attraction and awareness of Shuu as well as the confusion. Definitely romantic, this sweet story is well worth a read.

A lovely, sweet little story where these two boys learn to look beneath the surface to know the real person they have preconceived notions about. Best to toss those out the window because neither boy is so easy to type and both are total sweethearts. Beautiful artwork, especially for Sakura. His cat eyes and tied back hair were irresistible.
