This was a really interesting Omegaverse story. Both the MCs were strong, determined characters which is reflected in their drive to succeed at volleyball. They also obviously cared for each other very much, so when the unexpected heat came and Kageyama lost control of himself it was more than a little heartbreaking to read. You couldn’t help but worry for their future. I think that experiencing the alpha/omega fated pair reaction to the heat through Kageyama’s eyes was a good choice. It really showed how the alpha was at the mercy of his nature, how primal he became and how he was at the unforeseen mercy of his alpha side. When his rational side started returning his devastation was real. Then we got to see Hinata’s thoughts, and he was so understanding and ok with the experience, even to the point of being bashful at the end of it. For these two, the alpha and omega bond made sense. By the end of the story I could see that each bought their own strength to the relationship and supported the other when they needed them. Plus, Hinata was such a cute little dynamo, I loved his expressive face. All in all, this was a really well thought out story.

The first omega born to a generational family of alphas, Nio left his home young to live independently and away from the cold disapproval of his parents. When he received notice that his older brother Reo had been killed in an accident with his wife, Nio returned to his family home for the funeral. There he overheard discussions about the future custody of his nephews. While the youngest sibling was being taken in by his parents, the older boy Suou was no blood relation (having only been Reo’s stepchild) and was to be abandoned. Seeing many similarities to his own childhood, the kind Nio took custody of Suou, and found that raising the serious boy was as rewarding for him as it was for Suou. Suou was a natural caretaker who also excelled with his grades, sports and being popular. Over his years with Nio, Suou had fallen for the man who took him in. When he started college he also set out to let Nio know that there was more to their relationship than Neo could have dreamed. I found this story very sweet and wholesome. There were a few elements of fated mates suggested through the story and that was certainly a feeling I got from them both. I liked how flustered Nio became as their relationship changed, whilst Suou remained calm, certain and overall unflappable. That was, until Nio tried dating. Then we got to see the possessiveness of an alpha mate.

The fox and rabbit story was full of fluffy sweetness. Rikka (the son of the rabbit head) went to the fox land in order to query the terms of a fox/rabbit alliance. What he didn’t expect was for the son of the house of foxes Shirou, to fall in love with him at first sight. Next thing, Shirou and Rikka were wed and the love was being reciprocated. The story moved at a fast pace and was told in segments (eg, newlyweds, falling in love, falling pregnant, their son at 5 etc). It was a shame in some ways because a lot of world and relationship building could have really given depth to the story. But it was still lovely and full of love and happiness. The 2nd story of the stressed and sex addicted salaryman and the pretty (and formerly frigid) prostitute was ok. Also fast paced there was no unnecessary drama (surprisingly considering their characters) and a fast track to being perfect for each other. Nothing special but still a nice read.

I kept waiting for the drama and angst of Omegaverse but this was simply pure and wholesome. With full consent between the MCs there was lots of lovemaking that was both sexy and sweet. This story was hard to resist for how these guys fell for and treasured each other. It was interesting that this Alpha x Omega pairing was thanks to parental match making and it really did serve to protect the vulnerable Akihiro (omega).

What a wonderful story! And because I hadn’t read the forums there were no story spoilers so the surprise really caught me by surprise lol.

Cleverly done, seems so true to the characters and suits them in an Omegaverse setting. No pushovers here,, this was lots of fun to read.

Yoshihiko was an alpha of no great distinction with a bit of an inferiority complex. When he caught the attention of tall delinquent omega Momo, he was shocked to find himself under determined pursuit in the sweetest way. This was a really lovely Omegaverse story, with full consent, plump, thick peaches and an alpha with a soft spot for an innocent delinquent. I could happily read a few more chapters on these guys.

There wasn’t much to the story really. Haru was captured and had sex with his lover while he was still bound. Needs more relationship building even in a DJ with characters already created, there needs to be more.

It takes a shounen-ai to give a wholesome Omegaverse story full of kind and friendly people and a little town that looks perfect. This sweet story had alpha Ooji-sensei in his first teaching job working with grade 1 students. He runs into the guidance counsellor Yasumi-sensei, a gentle beta whom he had fallen in love with as a student at school himself. At that time, Yasumi had gently refused the confession and so in the present day Ooji had some residual embarrassment. But as these 2 renewed their acquaintance on an equal footing as adults they fall for each other. There is no angst or unnecessary drama; simply a happy love story full of good feelings.

A perfectly happy Omegaverse doujinshi with an abundance of adorable baby moments and new parenting joy. Some stories are so wholesome and sweet that you don’t want them to end, and this is a perfect example.
