Terebi-kun No Kimochi
A lovely little bunch of interconnected stories. Lot’s of sweet moments, my favourite perhaps being the scary faced/ ex delinquent store manager and the serious supervisor from head office. When he chased him down and held him because he had cried alone it was a heart melting moment. Like I said, lots of sweet moments.
Shima-chan Chi no Tsugai Jijou
Stories don’t get much better than this. Beautiful artwork, great characters who make sense being together, hot moments, interesting side characters, family, lots of love, and leaves you wanting more but still content. A feel good foray into the Omegaverse, highly recommended.
Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji
This was a wonderful story! Erika had such a sunny, outgoing disposition and Sata Kyouya was the epitome of a Black Prince with his ikeman looks and rather sadistic personality. But even when he seemed mean, Erika was very aware of the kinder guy beneath the mask. I liked that they were their authentic selves almost from the very beginning. I loved their friendship group and all the things they faced together over the years. Erika and Sata Kyouya we’re impossible to resist. One of the best shoujo I have read.
Fuyou Kareshi
Cute main story and extra oneshots. I really liked the sweetness of the MCs; sometimes adorable and fluffy characters are just what you need.
Backstage de Aimashou
A stoic style stage actor and the gentle model turned actor. A sweet story set in the world of actors and fans, these two become a strong pair. As always with this mangaka, the art was great too.
Yumi to Kurumi
Goodness! Why did such a sweet story make me cry this much? This story is as special as little Kurumi, bringing happiness amidst the tears. Little changes can have a big impact. Definitely a recommended read.
Blue, Black, Sky
Brothers Jaegyung and Dohyun have always had a close bond as children of fighting parents. The older Dohyun had displayed autistic tendencies when he was small but he remembers the day Jaegyung’s voice reached him and Jaegyung remember him meeting his eyes for the first time. Sadly, when their parents divorced, the boys were separated for years, Donyun to stay with his father, Jaegyung with his mother. When they were reunited their close bond remained, but Jaegyung had moments of doubt and worry at their closeness. The asocial Donyun only cared about Jaegyung. Years later when they found out they weren’t blood brothers they had a chance to be together, but would they both reach out to grab it? I think the thing I liked most in this story was the depth of their bond and affection for each other. Donyun was more possessive and dangerous, but given that he is a high functioning autistic adult who has bonded with one person in his life, his rare moments of absence were readily understood. Really, a very good story overall.
Ashita kimi no mono ni shite
Sweet, sweet love between two adorable friends. Quiet and reserved, Yuki is not looking forward to changing classes for senior year. That is until he met the sociable and friendly Hayato, a popular student who showed an interest in being friends. With a smile that could light a room, Yuki blossomed under the attention of the increasingly fascinated Hayato. This lovely story follows their friendship to romance story with the little bumps and misunderstandings that pop up along the way. The mangaka has a talent with making this pair feel like they lived in a special world of their own and for all that this was most definitely yaoi, it had a wholesome and fluffy vibe going on. Definitely highly recommended.
Kunkou Schale
3rd year college student Takashina, is extremely sensitive to others' scents. When he meets 4th year Ariji he is stunned to find that not only is Ariji’s scent pleasing, it’s all consuming and arousing. Their story is a kinky smorgasbord of delight that is at the same time sweet and fluffy and fun. Some of the scenes with Takashina’s breath puffing over the sensitive Ariji’s skin were very erotic yet still chaste. Great work by this mangaka.
