This is a gem! Artistically beautiful and two MCs who are good for each other, want the best for each other, and seriously adorable! Second years Tsuchiya Mao and Otomo Hisashi are sharing a dorm room again together this year. They have become friends who abide by 3 promises: I. Mao must never reveal Hisashi's secret that he is gay II. Hisashi won't look at Mao as a romantic interest III. Neither of them can get in the way of the other's "personal needs” time Things go well until Hisashi agrees to act in the BL movie being filmed by Mao’s film club. A movie with a kissing scene!

The perfect follow up to Tasogare Outfocus. Seeing these two happy and loving each other makes me happy too.

If you need to read a heartwarming, fluffy feel good kind of story, then this is one you can’t go past. 28yo Nogi Shinjiro has returned to Tokyo after being in America for the past 2 years. When he runs into Aoyama Yuki (28yo), he is stunned to see that the man who rejected his confession has a child. When Yuki needs Nogi’s help he is warmly supported by his old friend. How can Yuki resist his chance of happiness?

Akitaka is the tallest guy in his grade. He can be scary and dangerous, but at heart he yearns to fall in love. The petite Hina is the shortest in her grade. She can be a bit clueless in matters of love, but when the tough looking Akitaka confessed to her and held out a trembling hand, she found him irresistible and happily accepted. The story follows their romance from awkward first kisses to dealing with a healthy teenage boy’s libido. I liked how for all that Akitaka was possessive and protective, it took just a gentle touch from Hina for him to melt into puppy like obedience and adoration. I also liked his honesty and openness about his love for her. Plenty of sexy scenes (I did mention that adolescent libido) and not all in the confines of a bedroom. Very cute overall

Shinonome and Yukimura’s wrap up story has Yuki chan considering things from a new perspective as big changes loom. This was a satisfying conclusion for our prickly VP and his laid back delinquent lover.

This is the kind of story that you want to take your time with and enjoy. Single father, Oosawa had known his regular restaurant customer Yoshioka, for a long time now. He had seen the openly gay salary man go through relationships with a variety of partners and couldn’t help but be a little judgemental at the string of broken hearts left in his wake. But when he gets to know the now single Yoshii outside of work, the two become unexpected friends (although Yoshioka cheerfully pursued the straight man for something more) and each learns to depend on the other in an unlikely romance. Their story makes sense, the characters have well developed histories that make their relationship feel authentic, and it’s all just very sweet.

In his final year of schooling, Kunihiko is stressed by the demands of his upcoming exams, his parent’s expectations, and his own. As a guy whose anxiety manifests in an upset stomache, he is sympathetic to a stranger on the train showing the same symptoms. Little did he know that his impulse of generosity offering assistance to the unwell man would turn his life upside down. This story is very fluffy and full of fun. Both characters are endearing; the puppy like and caring beauty Senri, and the earnest and focused Kunihiko.

Beautiful art, sexy characters, thoroughly enjoyable story. Rival high schools Inugashira and Saratou High were in the midst of a long standing feud. The rough and tumble delinquents of each would frequently enjoy their fights for dominance. When the seconds in command meet each other over their affection for a surly cat, it’s love at first sight for Juri, the laid back Inugashira High 2nd year. The target of his feelings is the tough and energetic Hiromi, a 2nd Year at Sarutou High. Is it an ill fated romance or can these two stand together? This one is a favourite.

A world where humans and beast-men co-exist. Wolf-type beastman Haine finds himself unexpectedly falling for college freshman (and human) Natsuo after their less than ideal first meeting. For Haine, the pursuit is on as he openly declares his interest. For Natsuo, it’s a new experience getting to know a carnivore beast man, but the dangerous seeming man has a cute side, the softest ears, and a wicked tongue. The more Natsuo gets to know Haine, the stronger the connection between the two.
