The equivalent of a manga one shot, this story of a reunion had some great potential with good art and chemistry. Sadly for me, the writing was a little too ‘all over the place’ with so much time flashing between the past and present and the feeling that they would part ways. Still, it was a good quick read.

CW: Attempted rape Yoji Tsuchiya: Omega, in love with his best friend. Jin Arumi: Beta. The best friend loved by Yoji. Cheerful, and a little clueless about second genders. I thought that this was a sweet story of best friends who become so much more. In their circle of friends, Jin was already seen as Yoji’s “husband” for the ways he cared for his friend. Naturally, Yoji couldn’t resist falling for his friend and when he went into heat he decided to see if he could use that to break the friendship barrier. There were a few hurdles to overcome, as one expects in an Omegaverse. When an alpha sexually assaulted Yoji, that attempted violation was the omegas rude awakening to the power of his second gender over his reasoning. But Jin loved Yoji for who he was, not his gender and this pair supported each other so well that their relationship had the best foundations to be long lasting.

Very sweet story. Haru is an adorable omega who dreams of being a good dad, just like his father before him. But he’s never even heard of omegas before, so when his health checkup delivers the news to him, along with a reunion with his former classmate Katsuragi, life’s about to become very unpredictable for this cutie.

A rare treat of an Omegaverse story where the alpha was not only a virgin, but he was sweet and nurturing towards his omega. As for the dainty little Amaya Asahi, the omega in this story, he could kick ass when needed. Very cute story complete with adorably expressive ears and tails.
