Idk what it was but something just didn’t connect well for me. It had the premise to be really good but fell a bit short of my expectations. That way it started, I thought the seme had secret feelings for the uke all this time and was holding himself back, but then we get the flashback and Seme was never interested like that and just picked him up out of curiosity I guess? Seme’s character was hard to figure out for me. And he said I love you pretty quickly, but I guess that was something he was used to as an AV actor? And he said he’d give his love but was just figuring out his own feelings…idk it was odd that he supposedly didn’t have feelings for the uke but was doing all this to make uke feel loved and take care of him. For what reason then?? Uke was a bit pathetic to me, I know he was supposed to be traumatized and heartbroken and what not but he was so…feeble in all his interactions with anyone that I couldn’t fully come to care about his problems. Like please grow a backbone! It had the potential to be really cute, but the way it was told just felt unnatural and contradictory. But they were really sweet together and had good communication and consideration for each other, so they made for a good couple, even if I found their dynamic a little lacking.
