SUMMARY: Expecting a lonely, uneventful 16th birthday, our MC is surprised when a strange girl seeking his years dead father shows up on his doorstep, and then when a bizarre sorcerer comes through the TV threatening to kill him if he doesn't turn her over. Will the teachings of his father help them survive? ONE SHOT - A well drawn story with a relatively original and complex plot (considering it's length), that could have easily been longer.

It was cute, and I like the way the author incorporated illusion.

SUMMARY: In a barren world plagued by monstrous, automated warriors intent on wiping out humanity, a young botanist seeks to carry the ashes of her father back to his homeland, the mythical "Valley of the World Tree". It would seem an impossible quest, until she runs into strange and mysterious samurai with an even stranger plant spawning sword who is seeking the same location. Does this samurai have secrets she should know before she trusts him? Or should she agree to join forces with him in spite of his mysteries? 4 chaps - Rather interesting - the ultimate technology vrs nature battle with a bit of a twist.

Stretches logic too much to be totally enjoyable and leaves a fair bit unexplained. Like that 'right' prevailed though.

1 chap (June 2016) - It's cute. Definitely has a Nike/Livi feel to it, and there is even a Livi resemblance, but there is enough of a difference in the theme that it might shake that if it went on. Shame there is only one chap so far.

3 chaps and 1 chap - sweet, feel good tales about love that survives adversity.

One shot - Cute.

5 stories - varying quality. They each seemed to be lacking something, didn't seem to flow, so it may have been translation, but they were still relatively cute. #4 was should have a slightly more mature rating. Was a little disappointed.

28 chaps - Interesting story, and a deep and abiding friendship that stands the test of time, trials and even ego.

3 stories - The first - 5 star!!! I added it to my album of FAVORITE SINGLES. The second earned a 3. It would have got a four if our sweet little protagonist hadn't jumped the gun. The star rating also accurately represents your potential need for a tissue. The last... 2 stars... maybe. The art was decent, but t I didn't enjoy it. Creepy is a good adjective.
