My. Reason for dropping this is honestly really , really easy And it's a reason that is found in every other's Story that I read that I ended up dropping and it has to do with the female leader. The thing is for a romance series to work for me. I have to like at least one of the characters. Or find the relationship very compelling, unfortunately. The character's relationship here isn't anything that interesting. It's nothing you. It's a classic story and so you have to make up for it with your characters. Now the male lead is actually fine. Honestly, he's very fun to follow. But the thing is and this is something that. Bothers me in general when it comes to romances in the perspective of the male guy. And it's that how I feel about the story. Is greatly affected by which character I like the most so typically in romances. The main character is the female or the bottom, right? And so when bad things happen to them, you end up wanting to root for them and even though they do bad things you want them to come out of it, not completely ruined. Oing it because you've grown attached to them. They're the main character. They're the character that you always see. And so when it's the male character, that's the main character. I end up liking the male character more. Then the female, which is a very, very big problem because in romances, particularly in straight romances, the whole appeal of it is that the guy is straight out of your dreams right like you wish that this guy. Was someone you would date?You know you wish you can experience this with this guy.. Now here's nothing. I'm a straight woman and so when I'm reading b. Just insert myself into the bottom. You know, like I try to imagine things from his perspective and if I was him. However, when it's with the street romance, I automatically insert myself in the female perspective. Even if they aren't the main character And the The main character here is so It's so unreasonable and unlikable that I cannot comprehend why there are characters that are attracted to her and? Because she's such a bitch. I don't want to root for her. I don't care if she gets hurt. And care something bad happens to her. I just want the meal character. To be the one who comes out of it, okay? And because the female character is such a bitch. In fact, I want her to get hurtbecause she deserves it. Meanwhile, the male character is the one that I want to be chased. I want him to be the one who pulls away. But that's not gonna happen. And so I just don't have the patience for this story
