Summary
In the beginning of summer 1979, assistant professor Ukai, from the faculty of science, came across Toki, a student from the department of literature, who had visited his seminar by coincidence. Smitten with Toki's quiet and cold demeanor, it was love at first sight for Ukai. However, Ukai, who was secretly in love with his friend Amakata who had passed away when he was a student, and had since hidden his homosexuality at all costs, desperately suppressed his romantic feelings for his student. One day, while being followed by a male student on school grounds, Ukai was saved by Toki. As thanks, Ukai treated Toki to a meal, and the two became closer.
