Oni to Tengoku
it's realistic and enjoyable, mc is so relatable, ml seemed like such a red flag psycho initially with the way he kinda toys with mc, even resurfacing some of his trauma with his rapist-like behavior.......yeah... but he did change a lot, and he ends up pretty complex and now a green flag and he even apologized to the students he may have negatively impacted with his playboy habits.
Wolf In The House
amazing read. it's wholesome and feels realistic, despite the premise. loved the charas and their dynamics. loved how they all got their happy ending (except for that selfish ex of mc). ml is a Siberian wolf himbo and mc is pretty normal but likable. comedy is on point. their story is the most normal and least dramatic out of the 3 canon couples. ein and diesel... they are def the most interesting, and the most reminiscent of a dog's attachment to their owner; not to say how bexan got attached to minsung is not, but the contrast with their stories is really different.
Memeshii Aku to Azatoi Suh
short entertaining read. ml is himbo who gets dumped bc he gets too obsessive with them. mc sleeps with him, resulting in ml falling for him and repeating the same stalkerish behavior. mc rejects him initially, but likes him eventually cuz he's lonely due to repressed family issues, and ml's "love language" validates his affection-starved self.
Aniki no Ichiban Oishii Tokoro
It's incest, but surprisingly, it's fluffy and wholesome incest with realistic dynamics and complexities in their relationship... rather than the deranged co-dependency twisted love stemming from abusive childhood trauma, it's more like extreme brocon love that shifted into romantic love. honestly, there is no reason for it to be incest. this didnt have to be bl. and it still would've been a good entertaining story. but man the art is adorable.
Mad Dog
oh wow when they say sexual tension they actually mean it lol. absolutely love the art style and the muted colors and angle shots and shading- storytelling is just great, it delivers when it comes to conveying the right atmosphere, whether it's tense, sexual, or funny. the mc, he's very likable and pretty, he's no coward and is assertive when he needs to be. the ml... he's perverted, cheeky, a bit sadistic, and sexually harass mc with his words. he only gives mc special treatment, and ngl his chara visual makes me giddy...it feels juvenile to like his chara, but whatever. he's really hot man. and possessive/obsessive. it was unexpected but not surprising to learn he was the reason mc was kidnapped. all so he can capture him and put him on a leash (metaphorically). really reinforces how he's a "mad dog"
Moritat
it's very complicated, with several plot twists. however i felt that it couldve been presented in a more digestible way. it kinda felt all over the place, like the author is making it over-complicated for the sake of it. like, i get what's going on and stuff, but i think some overview narration would make me understand better, and thus appreciate the story more. esp the last 5 or so chapters. the author should've used it to clarify some stuff
Solo For Two
the art is so so so beautiful, the mc is absolutely stunning, the ml is so handsome, madame duchess is soo pretty ugh. story-wise it's decent. ml falls for mc at first sight, woos him, and succeeds, and they live together for a while, but then shit happens, and ml is arrested and goes to the battlefront. mc leaves their villa and re-pursues his career as a ballet dancer. i thought it was a miscommunication/misunderstanding that was the root of all this conflict, but it turned out to be much more complex, with elements of mental health issues ie depression. but in essence, it is a lack of communication and a traumas that festers this drama. also, im so sad for the broken friendship between mc and julian- he's such a great friend to both mc and ml, but he's also not wrong for loathing and blaming mc after hearing ml was killed in war.
