Breezed through til Ch.5 SPOILERS an OI where the randy "Duke" did a murder/suicide on the FL in their real life. Author trying to spin it as "she was gonna die painfully of cancer anyway so he saved her the pain." But she literally was feeling okay when he did it, it was a surprise, and she was shocked and struggled against it. They both transmigrated. ... can't get behind it, don't care how in love with her he was... She's supposed to end up with two men in a poly ending. One is the innocent "angel agent" that is terrible at acting. His agent/taskforce is tasked with keeping storylines/worlds clean of wonky reincarnation/isekai errors? Anyway, he was supposed to play the role of the husband who doesn't say much and assist her in her job. But the murder/suicide jerk sold his memories to a demon equivalent to get the role of the "husband with few lines". In an attempt to have access to fucking her I think. It doesn't help that I believe they were platonic friends in their real lives. He did all this so he could have a chance at having his unrequited love fulfilled? I can only guess at his grand explanation, I don't respect him enough to keep reading and find out. I was sorely tempted by blushing angel and funny-pervert demon equiv (he's so over the top, I like a "tame the bad boy storyline" Since everyone has new appearances she doesn't realize murder friend is the "duke of few lines". All she knows is that stuff isn't as she was instructed about when she gets the mission and Angel Agent is just as confused. She doesn't get a hint that 'the husband' is actually her murder friend until she meets the demon, who seems to have all of her friend's memories but none of the context. I don't know where they were going to go with it after that. Would she have vengeance on murder friend even though now he is the equivalent an amnesiac isekai man who actually believes himself to be the duke because of the story? He's portrayed as adoring her and doing all the proper tasks of a Duke, and his people support him and all that. He just happens to have an isekai soul at this point. I wonder if that is supposed to 'make us feel better'? But I just felt like if I kept reading, it wouldn't be a revenge story. And the murder friend would "win" even if he didn't remember why he was winning anymore. No winning for him. If the murder friend is truly part of the romantic end game, and I'm certain he is from spoilers, I'm out. Sorry if some of this is repetitive, I was copying over this conversation from previous comments I'd made so I covered the main points.
