I feel like dude is just gonna re-traumatize him because his rich influential parents are trying to force him into a relationship with some other influential asshole family’s daughter. He’s been smothered by his parents, his whole life and thought that because he was an adult he would have a little more freedom, but it’s just the same, and even if you just a tiny bit, they threaten him with sending him abroad (to be honest that would be the best solution because they can’t monitor him in America, but I can see how he wouldn’t want to be sent away from everything he knows.)
