This made me want to pick up a paint brush. Yes this is a romance but the technical terminology used is spot on. Male lead is a total jerk in the beginning for leading the female lead on so much. You really can’t blame this “ordinary girl,” for falling for the “pretty boy,” when said boy kisses her so much.

The entire story was just one love confession away from becoming a boys love manga. Even the author joked about it numerous times. Also what was the point of Hiro being introduced? The story is so good but so short that it seems pointless to add such a chapter towards the end. Still I love Nagi-kun & Ata-Chan was annoying until the end it see. Poor boy needs to get over his sis complex.

For someone who was trying to avoid the cliché of step siblings falling in love, this male lead fails hard. But what makes me disappointed is how quickly the female forgives his cold attitude and falls in love with him. During the relationship portion she does get a back bone, so that sort of makes up for it? A little. Also— let’s be serious, the title should’ve been something like “Ichi’s Answer,” or “Ichi Kami,” because the younger brother didn’t have a single chance at taking the female lead and that was painfully obvious until the very end. Since there were no “family” gatherings of course their parents left it off easily. Especially considering in the beginning, the mom never corrected her about the boys ages. They [the adults] were all too willing to leave two healthy teenagers alone for them to suspect nothing would happen. Smh. Good story and great art none the less.

It’s a pure middle school love story. I enjoyed it all.

Truly a shojo manga for us preferred girls in love! Perfect from start to finish! I just wish it was a bit longer tho~

I like the idea of the seme just slowly falling in love with the person who confessed to him.

It’s worth the read. Every single chapter. My only regret is not seeing philo’s complete happy ending but that’s the moral of the story to be happy with what’s right now. Loved it.
