This was nice but the angst after they got together seemed kinda pointless. I liked both characters and am glad the seme got in, and got a good job later. I didn't love them, though. The story didn't really stand out to me. It was just okay. The sex was interesting, in that, they were really equals. Either could have topped, maybe they should have just switched. It wasn't amazingly hot, though

This one was beautiful and really touching somehow. Eisuke's world had become so lonely and colourless, but Kai got him out. Kai had a tiny microscopic mean streak but was mostly kind and clearly cared a lot about Eisuke. Eisuke was also a likable character, and am glad ti see him happy. The side characters were also all lovely, surprisingly. Not a single annoying one, not even the step mother. And the divorced mom apparently even supports them! Definitely a forever kinda love. Simple but good. 4.8

I really liked it, Minegishi identified his feelings and acted on them, without delay, which was great. Honma is not quite my kinda seme, he's a bit too reserved and quiet, but he really will take the best care of Mine, I have no doubt. The arc with Araki was really off putting and it's still hard for me to truly support him. The other dude is just fucking creepy. The younger brothers' concern for Mine's happiness, both of their excellent relationships with their familes and the supportive parents really made this an enjoyable read

Akuma De Keiyaku

Complete | himuro sakura | 2000 released

1: Seme is somewhat rapey but I honestly didn't hate the story. It just wasn't amazing either. Ryou, a rich heir who is being isolated in his own company after his grandfather's death, summons a demon (Bel) out of boredom and the demon ends up being the best damn secretary 4 2: Story about Phi, the younger looking demon whom Bel mentors, who comes looking for Bel, and the shady as fuck infirmary sensei who works in Ryou's company. Blech. Too young looking, even if he is hundreds of years old. 3 3: Story about a neglected uke whose family is full of elites who undermine and belittle him for not being as smart. He's retaking his uni entrance exams and summons a demon to help with the studying, only, it was the wrong kinda demon 4.3 Overall: 3.8

Cafe Otoko!

It's okay? But so annoyed that the semes never get a taste of their own medicine. Especially Hibiki :/ 1: Ouya, who comes back to live, study and work part time with his beloved brother after being separated for 3 years, and Haruka, the guy whom he had a crush on, whom he doesn't seem to recognise, simply because of a change in hair style, aura and glasses. You know what, Ouya is such a ditz, but at least he managed to fight his way out when Haruka forcefully pushed him down. Which, by the way, sucked. Their feelings also seemed to develop out of nothing. Haruka's only from stories he had heard, and Ouya's from a single kiss he got as a high schooler from a complete stranger. Stupid. 3.9 3: I definitely liked the reencounter and long held love kinda feeling this story gives out the most, of the 3 stories here. However, why did this idiot couple waste 3 years on revenge? And moreover, Hibiki always seems to have the upperhand, it's somehow frustrating. Minato is alwys chasing after him while Hibiki is always cold and mean. 3.9 5: Hisaya is a pretty annoying character, all in all. He's nosy, ungrateful and mean. I didn't enjoy it and their feelings felt shallow. Well, maybe not for Takatsugu. But either way, the confession came out of nowhere, and so did Hisaya's acceptance. It was just stupid 3.4

Premise is kinda stupid? I prefer most Japanese comics, tbh. They have more substance to them. Most of what this has going for it is the coloured art. Anyway, I do kinda prefer the uncle, at least he's working hard to turn his life around. The whole story doesn't seem to have much of a point, though. 4.2

This 30 year old workaholic virgin who's not the best at meeting people speaks to me on levels I can't explain Edit: Really glad they're happy together. Not as sexually exiting and interesting as I originally thought, but not bad. I love confident guys like Rou being taken down a peg or two, although Yoshino has done it most unwittingly. I also love smart and capable ukes like Yoshino. The era of stupid shoujo female leads and ukes with bread slices in their mouths and and nary a braincell in their heads is OVER!
