An inspector with the police department comes to a city to find the truth behind the murder of his brother, only to become involved with the next in line for a major mafia family, and embroiled in a crime network that has it's roots in unexpected places. Interesting, certainly, but also, mafia stories are almost always difficult reads.

Seoyoo (omega), alone in the world after his brother passed away in an accident, was contemplating suicide on a deserted bridge when a reckless rich kid without a driver's license came careening into the railing. Soon enough, Seoyoo finds his life full of the kid and his scary looking brother, Seonghoon (alpha). My poor baby. Seoyoo's sense of selfworth is so low, my God. Did he have NO positive reinforcement growing up, ffs?! At least he's got that café owner to be his friend, now (suspicious, though he may be). I also love his relationship with the kid. I feel so bad for him, though. His uncle is a piece of shit, his exes are the absolute worst. Honestly, he's had such a hard life. I really, really want to be happy about Seknghoon's presence in his life. It seems like he would do anything make him happy. But that's also the problem... he really would do anything... 5 Edit: Ch 33. It's still phenomenally good

It's interesting but so damn off-putting. Jiwoo, who lives a tough life, working long hours and being the sole caretaker of his grandmother, finds himself being "haunted" by a zombie like entity that appears and forces sexual encounters before disappearing again. Edit: it's not completed. They can't change the status to ongoing, apparently. Ch5

It's good. Oh my gosh, it's so good. But all this uncertainty and dancing around each other is driving my anxiety through the roof. It's so good, though! 5 Edit: It wasn't too bad, the problems were relatively short lived, albeit quite intense (literally world threatening). Youngjin, a young hacker gets caught during a hacking/theft operation gone wrong and ends up striking a deal with President Seo, a shady businessman, to dig himself and his friends out of it. Truly an interesting plot. And even though Youngjin's actions and lack of questioning orders could be frustrating sometimes, I really get why he is the way he is. Anybody would have turned out pretty messed up after being groomed and psychologically (and sexually) abused like he was for so long, and while cut off from the rest of the world, too. In fact, baby's so strong for coming out in the other end, still capable of striving for his goals. He's kind of a rarer type of MC, that I can definitely get behind. He's so smart, but so soft, and that gap is just, everything. I kinda like President Seo, too. He's no "good" guy, but he's still exactly the kind of capable, gentle (to the people he loves) and loyal alpha my guy needs right now. I'm not going to argue with that. 5/5 Ch 65
