I do enjoy the crying face of ukes, but not quite like this. He seemed to be crying sometimes from sheer frustration and a feeling of helplessness or accute humiliation. I do enjoy some embarrassment play, definitely a kink, ngl, but this rubbed me on the wrong end of non con. Eishi was kinda mean in an almost unaware way and Kyosuke was too helpless and neither were exactly the kinda people I am into. 3.8 5: Takumi (who is straight) gets drunk on his first trip to a gay bar and wakes up in bed next to another man. Ayukawa is a sly bastard, manipulative both intentionally and unintentionally. Takumi is wrapped around his pinkie, no doubt. I do like that Ayukawa did try to dissuade him, shows me that Takumi wanted in from the beginning, even if he himself didn't realise it. Also really appreciate Ayukawa not taking advantage of him that first night. I also enjoyed how Ayukawa saved him, it's always the other way round in yaoi (though definitely not the method he used) and that Ayukawa listened to him first and foremost instead of blowing up at him. 4.3 Overall: 4

First one about a mean looking but actually nice seme and a pretty faced tsundere boy. Their misunderstandings and love story. Low 4* Seme comes back after pretty much abandoning uke for 5 years. Uke in the mean time, had a kid, got married and widowed (in that order, pregnant so hot married). This is about the uke resisting the seme who's still head over heels. 4.5* 3: Shiro and ume are in a band. Ume's quite the bully 3.8

Hana is in love with the unattainable Renjaku san who is a famous flower arranger across the street, who helped him with his heat once. So glad I reserved judgement. Renjaku is definitely an asshole, but he's an asshole who is madly in love with Hana and will keep him protected, loved and happy with everything he is. Hana was just so cute. He's ditzy sometimes, but he's kind and so fucking strong, honestly. He's so resilient, going on like that, despite the stigma, his shitty fucking parents, his delusional creepy brother, and his seemingly unrequited love. I liked it, but don't want any reconciliations with his family. They can rot. And that brother is creepy af :/ 4.8
