TALIM - Dare mo Shiranai Ryu no Hanashi -
1: After getting hurt in the woods, Tatsuro is tended to by Talim, who is a dragon. Isolated Talim, who can't live with humans due to being unable to control his transformation, loves spending time with Tatsuro and learning about the human world. Tatsuro finds himself falling deeper and deeper for the innocent and kind Talim. I mean, this is just really nice. No problematic elements and a sweet love story. No, that's too simple a descriptor. It's a "love for the ages" kinda love, I can tell. I like how devoted Talim is and how gentle Tatsuro is. And their baby was so adorable! I just. I can't help but think about how Tatsuro will die one day and leave him behind for eternity. I'm glad they're trying to make the most of the time they have. 5 4: Takami joins the design club at university and a weirdly socially awkward senpai Hinata, imprints on him immediately. Takami doesn't mind taking care of Hina, but doesn't feel much more beyond that, or so he thinks. When he goes to meet Hina, only to see the awkward Hina being fed by and interacting with a hot guy, it makes all sorts of unpleasant feelings bloom in his gut. Liked it. Was cute and sweet and just a light read. Liked also that the brother wasn't one of those annoying siblings who meddle in their siblings affairs for no good reason. 4.6 4: About Hina's older brother Ichikawa (who is a famous and brilliant designer) and Yugo, a new hire at his company (whi happens to be a huge fan of him). I just really like the both of them. The gaps in how you first perceive Ichikawa and how he really is, is elso endearing. Yugo is so great because he's so damn self aware and outwardly perceptive, as well. They're just great people and great for each other. 4.8 Overall: Well done. 5
Yokoshima Innocent Days
Yuki always takes care of his childhood friend Natsuki, who is unable to do much without him. Or so it would seem... At first, I thought Natsuki to be a really boring and obvious character. But he turned out to be shrewder and smarter by far. And more tragic too, but he used Yuki's misconceptions well to his advantage. About Yuki, though. I think he's just really conceited and kinda a bit selfish too. I don't hate him, but he's certainly not very likable. He cheated on the girl too. Glad she broke up for other reasons without knowing about that. And Naruse's wakeup call? Yuki totally had that coming. They were a bit hard to read with the lemons, because they're too young for me. But overall story-wise, it wasn't too bad. I just didn't like Yuki very much. 4.4
Nitta-kun Chuuihou
When Tamura accidentally runs into Nitta, a delinquent at school, and takes home his bag by mistake, he discovers a secret that he thinks will lead to him getting beaten up within an inch of his life. But Nitta reacts veeeerrryyy differently from what Tamura expected. I think Nitta's got him hooked. But, he's got Nitta hooked, too. Just a bit. It's just, Nitta is the shrewder, of the two. But Tamura isn't exactly missing out, either. It's a relief to read something that even this balanced after the mind fuck that is "We Are All Works In Progress" 4.5
Hitsuji no Kawa wo Kita Kemono
Sweeta and innocent Daichi unwittingly falls for his sister's two-faced fiance. Tatsumi is scumbag. End of. It was so interesting, and I enjoyedthe plot. But he's still scum. Daichi is some saint or something. I don't see how they could ever work, were his sister to find out. Gosh. Poor baby. I just want him to be happy. 4.5
Romance Debut!!
Yuzuki did a complete 180 with his look and personality when he started high school, wanting to leave behind his "boring and dull" middle school self. But his efforts get intercepted by a Shitara, who seems oddly invested in Yuzuki's life. It's interesting and I am really, really interested in reading how the situation progresses. Glad his friends aren't fake. Shitaka does give pretty solid advice 4.8
Hana Tokidoki Kuma
Sumito shares a cafe notebook with a stranger, passing little messaages back and forth and falling a little bit in love, only to meet the person behind the pen to find out it's a guy, Kokuma. And yet, Sumito finds himself just as equally interested in the gentle Kokuma who clearly has feelings for him. It's so gentle and wholesome. I love Kokuma's forwardness, I loved that Sumito was willing to take a chance, too. They're really, really good together. But that ending sucked. 4.95
Ore no Aoharu wa Watasanai
Subaru pretends to be a cool prince at school, in hopes of living out his ideal shoujo manga love story. But when Jinnai, his old friend, shows up, he finds himself reverting back to his old shoujo manga otaku self around his trusted friend who prefers him both as is, and doesn't want to share his cute sides with others. Clearly, friendship isn't the only thing going on there. Overall, it was enjoyable, but Jinnai keeping people away from Ikkun during middle school just so he could monopolize him sucks a lot. It just left a bad taste for me. I will say, though, I'm really glad Ikkun got good friends during high school. 4.4
Happy End wa Goisshoni
Wataru is a, frankly adorable, dude who loves girly things and cooking. So he's never had a girlfriend, despite being an elite at work and being movie star- handsome. When he finds out his favourite shoujo mangaka (Soto) lives in the apartment next door, an unlikely friendship is struck up. Soto is fine, and all, but Wataru, dammit. What a precious child is this person with not a mean bone in his body. ~Ahhh 4.8
Sexual Awakening of an Ex-Delinquent
I dunno. Like, he's... so innocent? I don't really think I can read him getting taken advantage of Edit: Again, the twist at the end was interesting and the story was kay. But I really can't get over the seme assaulting the uke. Shit was so fuckin unnecessary. He could have wooed him easy with those sweets. I'm so frustrated. 3.8
