Ai no Kotoba wo Uragaeshi
So, so good! 1: Man raises a stray boy for two years with care an affection and the love-starved boy ends up falling in love with the man. It's shown in a comedic manner. But the underlying story and the feelings portrayed are beautiful 5* 85: Anri attempts to break up with his high school sweetheart, Satoshi, because his love for Satoshi is becoming painfully and terrifyingly intense. But Satoshi refuses to let go because he loves Anri just as much. Shows a really helpless sort of unconditional love 5* 122: Two broken hearts find solace in each other. One from a recent break up and one from a new dvorce. Characters and story lack background and depth. Could have been great. 4* 158: Shuuto is in love with his brother's best friend Yuki. I don't know. Less comfortable with this pairing. Shuuto is too young in too many ways. Just a little creepy. 3* 191: Man unwittingly accepts a job at a shady af knick-knacks store. Only, apparently, he wasn't being hired to work as a clerk. Healing a broken heart is a pretty touch job. 3* 200: Love, love this! Though it's only 10 pages long. I wish so much it had a sequel! Uuuu :'( An act of kindness and a painful goodbye. It's so sad :'( 5*
Final Impression
1: Nakagami asks for a goodbye kiss just as Hayashida is about to move away. Hayashida thinks that's gross and refuses. He returns during high school and has become an a***hole. Loved the uke, hated the seme. Nakagami deserves better. 3* 5: Hiromasa's boyfriend (senpai at work) tells him that he is getting married to the director's daughter but still want to continue the relationship afterwards. Of course, Hiro's not okay with that. Coming home from work, he sees Kaoru, who had been living with a cabaret girl downstairs, sitting outside with a bag. Hiro takes Kaoru in. One man unaccustomed to being loved, an one man tired of false love. A relationship blossoms. 5* 6: Shouji's girlfriend dumps him and he visits his usual bar, where he is friends with the bartender, Kodaira. Kodaira (just by simply existing) makes Shouji question his sexuality. Interesting read. 4*
Motto Midara Ni Shitsukemashou
Silence (AKIYAMA Koito)
The first and last ukes look painfully young (especially the first). I would really not recommend re-reading.
Samishigariya no Love Letter
1: Yuuki finds a chocolate tin that he can use to communicate with a sickly boy, Ninomiya Tohru, in the past. Promises are made to meet in the future. 5* 3: Story of poor Hinata who is in love with his dense childhood friend, Haruto. Even when he confesses, Haruto assumes he s practicing. 4* 5: Tiny 5 year old Iori wishes to marry Hau, who is 15. Jokingly, Haru tells him to ask him in ten years, if he still feels the same. Thing is, Iroi's feelings have not changed, but does he still have the courage? 4*
Hey! Doctor
1: Perverted doctor and extremely naive uke. Nah 2: Perverted tenchou of conbini and the ramen noodle delivery guy?. Why are these stories so weird? 3: Popular idol and his annoyed classmate
Ijiwaru Na Kuchizuke
Ubatte Choudai
1: Yuugo is confessed to by his straight friend Masatoshi. The persistent and charming Masatoshi wears him down, bit by bit. 4* 2: Naoto the Pattern maker has been in unrequited love with his long term friend and co worker Sakai, a fashion designer. One drunken night, Naoto kisses Sakai while thinking he is asleep, which threatens to destroy their relationship. 5* 3: Taizou and Junbei, two high-schoolers have started going out in secret, but Junbei wonders whether Taizou is only interested in his more feminine side, while Taizou is worried that Junbei doesn't want a more physical relationship. 4* 5: The uncommonly beautiful Masato has been in love with his competent at work but still seriously thick best friend/ subordinate, Kyohei. While kyohei doesn't even know that Masato is gay. 5*
