Shinigami wa Korosenai
Caleb, a shinigami, was unable to take the life of a precious charge (Eiji), and resolves to watch over him, as he grows. But since he has meddled with fate, Eiji's life is riddled with dangerous incidents as other shinigamis and fate itself conspire to take the soul that the lord is owed. Is there any hope for these two souls who care for each other so dearly? I liked it. Plot was meaningful, but the story was a tad short. The transition from "shinigami do not feel lust" to the sex scene was a little odd, though. 4.7
Hetakuso Inma ja Dame Desu ka?
Was good, some bits not so much, but overall good. Could do with more detail? 4.5
Dine With a Vampire
Chi Hwan is no saint. And it is difficult to really like him despite his having saved Sooin. He killed hundreds of vampires, but it was so that he could live. The story doesn't really explain why he was unable to drink blood from humans, though. Sooin, as well. Was too broken and morally gray, to be an enjoyable character. It was through no fault of his, though. Such were his circumstances. I do feel Sungha should have to suffer more for his actions. Man's a fucking psychopath! Joohyun, though, suffered enough for his part in the proceedings, more or less. Overall, the plot was interesting and the ending twist was quite good, but I just didn't enjoy the story. Too much truma and pain. 4/5
Torezoa ~Boku no Takaramono~
Hero and mage, continuing on together long after the demon king was defeated by them, and their party disbanded. What are they truly seeking...? I don't think it was right at all of the mage to steal his memories, and that too, so many times! Feel like that wasn't addressed properly. And feel like their relationship isn't well balanced. The hero is always the one giving in. The Chicken doesn't help, either. 4.4
Aiin Honey Melt
Oomori finds a special honey that gives him the ability to read his stringent coworker, Atsumi's, thoughts. I don't typically like tsunderes, and this was no exception. I didn't hate Atsumi, it's just not that great of a character trait. I did like Oomori and how decent of a person, he is, though. Genuinely, many people would have taken advantage. 4.4
Asagao wa Yoru kara Saku
Yuugen's secret love and the only person who acknowledges him at school, Hideto, passes away in a freak accident. Now Yuugen has to help him pass on by taking care of all his unfinished business. God. I knew it was not a coma story. I knew. But. Fucking. I was not ready for this, okay. I was not ready. 5
Anoyo de Omae ni Suki dato Ieru
Kunimi decides to end his miserable life but get transported back to his high school days instead. Or does he...? We all need a Gaku in our lives. Seriously. Patient to a degree I didn't know people could be. Loyal to a fault. Man. I want one. Kunimi is so brave to come out to see him without knowing anything. True, he fucked up by turning away. Choosing to end it all. But he redeems himself. Both in the “afterlife” and in reality. I loved the plot! Did not go where I expected, at all. 5!!!!
Undead (TSUYUHISA Fumi)
Zombie apocalypse yaoi with an actually intelligent plotline. Keen to read on.
